Convenient and comfortable.Posted Oct 16, 2014
We enjoyed our 3 night stay here in October. The hotel is conveniently situated at the foot of the hill, beneath Prague Castle, a 10 minute walk (across the bridge) to the Old Town Square. The tram stop is only a 2 minute walk away. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous eg booking taxis (and negotiating prices), providing a packed breakfast (as we had to leave before the restaurant opened) and allowing us to leave our bags before check in time. (When we arrived to check in, the bags were waiting for us in our room.) Although the hotel is near a busy road, we didn't notice any traffic noise, except of course in the garden where we sat enjoying our complementary welcome drink. The rooms were spotless, bathrooms sumptuous and quiet, efficient aircon was a bonus. Lovely choice at breakfast and nice touches elsewhere eg pastries in reception. We did not use the spa facilities. All in all we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others and would love to stay again

Wonderful HotelPosted Sep 29, 2014
Location: Five minutes walk from the Castle, the Castle Gardens and the Charles Bridge yet not thronging with people the way much of the Old Town is.
Great hotel, the only problem is that if you are staying in one of the rooms near the spa, the hallway gets very hot and you will need the aircon on quite a lot to keep the room cool. This certainly didn't affect our sleep (the bed was huge and really comfortable) or our general enjoyment. The restaurant serves great food and the staff are extremely helpful. The quirky art deco decor is also very endearing.

Pros: Cozy. High standard. Good value for money.
Cons: More tea and coffee available in the rooms. Only two bags/sachets were supplied daily.
Location: Very close to the Castle and the main city centre, crossing by the Charles Bridge.
Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Near enough but not near noisy traffic.

Excellent facilities in an excellent locationPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The spa, the staff, the breakfast, everything
Cons: Not sure really, for what we paid through Expedia, it is amazing.
Location: Fantastic location to walk to the old town, and we chose to use the metro to get to Muzeum and Mustek, which was easy, clean, fast.
Spa was absolutely brilliant experience, booking for a couple of hours exclusive use with a bottle of bubbly was well worth the (approximately) £65 price and a real highlight of our honeymoon. Rooms a big and comfortable, and the air con ACTUALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE! So seldom is this the case with hotel air conditioning. Staff are very friendly and effective; no request is too big or small. One point, the restaurant is pretty pricey, and you'd do better making the five minute walk to St. Nicholas square and the endless fantastic restaurants you'll find there.

Charming gem at the foot of Prague CastlePosted Jun 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave good advice and booked several things for us. Breakfasts (included) and dinner were very good. The hotel is down the hill from the back of Prague Castle, plus walkable (for us) to Old Town, Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter. It's also a block from Malostrenka's four trams and the subway, so getting around was extremely easy. We walked so much, we needed a massage, which was expertly done and well worth it.

Hotel standardPosted May 8, 2014
Cons: Locate to a proper hotel building of a 5star standard. This should be rated as 3 star.
Hotel building old and like a house. No feel of a 5star hotel. Small reception. Located in a small street. Not like Hilton, Sheraton etc.
