This hotel does not have 4 stars. Barely gets to 3. A hotel is not good of bad because gives you shoe polishing. Probably for those gaggets that’s it’s getting 4 stars. One room bare! The drapes were too small for the window. The other room the drapes were way too long. This hotel needs a lot of work and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and wouldn’t come back either. There’s are real 4 star hotels in better shape.

🇺🇸. Excellent breakfast and nice staff. Room: old carpet, very outdated, dusty old curtains. Bathroom moldy and almost no toiletries just one small body lotion for three nights stay at the hotel. They didn't change linens or vacuum the room.

Enjoyable, but a bit of sprucing up would be nice.
Super convenient, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a bit of a 'tired elegance' to it, but it was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean, just could use a bit of an update, some fresh paint here and there, fix some dinged up corners, etc. But, the value was great. Access to public transportation was good too. Would visit again.

A great building in the Stalinist tradition and superb woodwork throughout the property. Room was big and well appointed. Breakfast was exactly the same every day and could have been better and more interesting with the addition of daily changes to the fare on offer. That said, it was pretty good. Some noise from smokers outside the front entrance late at night was disappointing. Having to pay CZ1000 as a deposit for the minibar was unexpected and the first time I have been asked to do such a thing for twenty years or so anywhere in the world. Overall, it is a great property with loads of character and is well placed for public transport. As a regular visitor to Prague, I would think twice about staying there again because of the compulsory cash deposit or credit card guarantee. A definite four out of five overall.

The service staff at the reception desk and Iskander, who helped us with our luggage were excellent. The breakfast was top notch and a it had a gated parking area. Lovely hotel, although a little worn in places. I would definitely recommend it.

Not very close to tourist attractions but an Uber is very cheap to get to Old town / new town etc. Hotel is very big - breakfast/ lunch / dinner daily / indoor and outdoor. Bar in lobby -Small cute rooftop. Hotel does have AC which is a plus and the rooms are a generous size for 2 people. Pizzeria is across the street but not many places to eat in the area. Some local bars a few blocks away / Would recommend for any one trying to find something affordable and for a decent sized room

Lovely old world charm
Absolutely charming hotel with excellent service. Slightly dated room decor but hotel currently being upgraded. Spacious, comfortable and clean. Only downside on my trip was fire alarm going off twice on my final stay.

Staff was super helpful with finding a place for our bikes and checking on a different room with one bed. They also helped us figure out how to get the lights to work with the card key. Overall a nice facility, if a little dated, but quaint.

Staff were very helpful however the rooms weren’t that clean. We found bed bugs in our beds and it even bit my small son. The other facilities were ok, average at best.

The they offered me was separated by the door in between two rooms and I hesrd the other room.peoples privacy all night and i guess they were too,Also i reported to changed the room to me in first time the receptionies was not happy and they loughed behind me,becaouse my partner she saw them ,but after I reported on the site they offered me anothee room.

Unexpected disapointment confirms terrible service
I feel obliged to take time to write this review a very unsatisfactory stay at the “Grand Hotel International Prague”. We had booked a very short 1-night stay via hotels.com for a brief relaxing and most importantly refreshing transfer to the airport next morning. We checked in late and checked-out at approximately 4:15 am. However our stay was worse than an hostel or lodge! Upon checking in we discovered that there were no towels in the room and were given the explanation that front desk could not help with laundry problems. I stay in many hotels and its first time I found myself in situation where there are no towels available! When I requested the staff to find one towel – she arrived with a bed sheet! I certainly didn’t expect this level of service. Not withstanding such a critical miss, there was no water in room, no pillows for the second bed, and the room had a persistent mouldy smell. The front desk was also unable to find another room for the night. The whole point of booking a night at hotel was to be able to depart fresh for Airport travels next morning. Unfortunately this was an unexpected disappointment and after complaining there is no response from hotel management which confirms their terrible attitude to service. They will surely not see me as a guest.

Air conditioning didn't work, it became very hot in a south facing unit. Afternoon reception staff was arrogant, discourtious and disinterested in serving the guests; morning staff in the reception was simply excellent: attentive and very courteous. Restaurant staff were professional, helpful and efficient. Compliments to the housekeeping staff the rooms were very clean

The property is well kept and the staff are nice. We had booked a room for three. We got a good sized room with an excellent view and a fair sized separate sitting area also with great unobstructed view. The sitting area had a sofa bed for our daugther. Many items to choose from at the buffet breakfast. Food was expertly made and dishes were continuously replenished. Public transportation is just steps away. Couldn't be happier with this stay.

Friendly staff excellent breakfast easy to get to city center, between 2 tram stops and bus in front of the hotel. Our room was a bit worn and could use a refresh. Looks like some have been done. There was a poster in the elevator offering an up grade. I did not inquire as I guessed there would be an up- charge

Our favorite hotel in Prague
Our whole family stayed in the hotel, we had two beautiful, clean and quiet rooms. The accommodation went without any problems, the breakfast was great, the staff was helpful, we will come again!

Josef the concierge was EXTRAORDINARY! By far, the best thing about the hotel - kind, generous with his advice and help!!! We did have an issue with the bartender who was dismissive of us and didn't want to take our order, so we left. But the rest of the staff (especially Josef!) were wonderful.

Lovely stay for a few days
The hotel is beautiful and the staff offered many activities. Room cleaning was optional each day and gifts were provided each day you chose not to have it cleaned. The breakfast was delicious and there was a huge range to choose from. My one gripe is that the toilet paper was single ply. Which I found odd honestly in a 4 star hotel.
