“Kavalir Hotel - excellent”

The hotel, although not in 'as new' condition, was excellently situated for easy travel within Prague and teh rest of Czech Republic (a great place, and highly recommended to anyone who has not been there). Service excellent, and staff very helpful. ill be going back...soon!

“Great location”

You are out of the tourist area so prices around the hotel are good. There is a tram and bus stop in front of the hotel that has a tram or bus there every 5 min or shorter during the day so you can get to the sights very quick.

the hotel is located on the edge of MALA STARNA. there is a tram station across the street. the hotel features, very good costumer service, great breakfast, clean rooms and nice beds. the hotel gives an excellent value for your money. i enjoyed the stay. lior.

“A very pleasant experience”

I stayed at Hotel Kavalier for 4 days from 5th June.I must say it was a very pleasant experience as the hotel was very nice and in my opinion was faultless.The staff spoke good english and were more than helpful.The room was excellent, en-suite facilities were nice and the bed gave a great nights sleep,Important after a days walking round Prague ! The Kavalier was everything I expected from a 3 star hotel.It was very clean, a more than adequate buffet breakfast,pleasant helpful staff and a very welcoming atmosphere.I would recommend it to anyone wanted an enjoyable stay in Prague.

Don't be put off by location,on one of the main roads into the centre of prague. Overall a top class hotel with very helpful (24hr) desk,excellent restaurant with buffet type breakfast,very clean & tidy rooms with bathroom,you couldn't ask more from a hotel.. thoroughly recommend...

“YES YES YES”

When you book a cheap hotel, you never know what you will end up with. What we got was perfect. The hotel was clean, well-managed, we had a nice room, and breakfast was good. The tram stop is immediately outside the building, and it took only 15 minutes to get into the heart of Prague. Despite being so close to a road, we found the hotel surprisingly quiet. One evening we missed the last tram back (they run until about 12:15am on that route) and so had to grab a taxi, which actually only cost us 150Czk (equivalent to £4.70 or $7.4)- so hardly an issue being a bit out of the city. Prague is wonderful; it is absolutely stunning with lots of things to do during the day and during the evening. For a cheap city break this hotel is absolutely superb, nothing too fancy but very well looked after and convenient. (And hey, it leaves you with money to buy nice beer and food, which is really what it is all about anyway!)

“Hotel Kavalir”

Very clean hotel with helpful staff. Was a bit disappointed that the cooked breakfast disappeared towards the end of the week. The hotel is ideally situated for travel by tram, which are very frequent, run at all times and takes about 10 minutes into the city. The location is excellent and we found it very easy to access all areas of the city without any difficulty. The only downside is the noise from the main road outside. Although the double glazing is more than adequate if you have your window open during the night the traffic is non stop, including sirens at all hours as it is the main route for the biggest hospital in Prague.

“Excellent value for money”

For the money you pay you get excellent service at Kavalir. Rooms were very clean. Location is awesome. Tram 9 takes you to centre of Prague in 20 mins. Breakfast is good too. Was surprised to see some warm stuff in breakfast.
