Great location, great hotel

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Fantastic executive lounge with a terrific concierge, cheerful staff, great location close to the action but not overrun by the summer crowds
Cons: The room key turns the lights on which is fine but at night the bathroom lights won't go on without turning on the room's overhead lights on.
Location: Shops, restaurants, concerts within steps of the hotel.
This cheery hotel is located on Republic Square in Old Town, just minutes away from all the action. We had a very pleasant room, lots of sunshine and a good view. First rate bed, television and bathroom. Staff were always helpful and good natured. High marks to Katerina at the front desk and especially to Suzanne in the Executive Lounge which is fully stocked with wines, beer, sodas, brandy, Scotch and high quality snacks. We had two dinners in the lounge [roast beef, chicken and ham sandwiches, fruit, pastries]. Suzanne is a wonderful concierge who set up tours, gave us great advice about the city and made reservations for dinners at the best restaurants. The breakfast buffet is huge with hot and cold food and good service. You won't want any lunch after eating there. Housekeeping was excellent. The musicians in the Square were mellow and fun to listen to [no drums or electric guitars]. The rooms all have good coffee machines and ample coffee. My wife had 2 massages and was more than satisfied. We did not use the small workout room because walking on Prague's cobblestone streets is enough of a workout. Several of the city's best restaurants [Imperial Cafe and Zvonice] and 2 blocks away. Across the street is a large shopping mall that is easy to enter but tricky to exit. Daily concerts and ballets are just around the corner in the municipal building. The hotel has a good restaurant. All in all we had a most pleasant experience and recommend the hotel highly.

Excellent location and breakfast

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: location and breakfast
Cons: Train staff to be nice.
Location: excellent
Staff unfriendly, old dirt all over the room and bathroom. Do not complain, because no one listen. I find a dirty plate on the table and a hair on the food twice. I ask waitress to clean it up. Instead of apologies, I was attacked. Floor was never vacuumed. Bad experience and please: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, it will ruin your holidays

A jewel of a hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2014
We loved this hotel. It was centrally located but quiet. Our room opened onto the courtyard and you could have heard a pin drop. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a delicious buffet and the coffee was good. If I ever find myself in Prague again this is were I will stay.

Great hotel

Central location near Old Town Square yet away from major crowds. Excellent staff; very helpful in creating customized personal trips and travel for us. Clean and modern facility. Great restaurant and bar. Across street from Metro and shopping complex. Only negative - needs better lighting in the bathroom for applying makeup.

Great hotel in perfect location

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Location and service
Cons: AC issues
Location: Right on tram and underground lines, shopping and easy walk to Old Town Square. Street food vendors and music just outside hotel.
Aside from some minor issues with the AC in the room, my experience with the Kings Court was great. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Stay in an executive room and enjoy the hospitality lounge, which has great food, drinks and a concierge of your own to help plan your visit. Room 215 was big and the bed comfortable. Right on Republik Square, but not so noisy you can't sleep. The spa was small but had a nice little pool, saunas and massages available. Breakfast was crowded but delicious.

Lovely comfortable hotel, centrally located

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, very close to all attractions but not noisy. Staff pleasant and helpful
Cons: Cant think of anything
Location: Centrally located to all attractions and start of sightseeing tours
We had a lovely stay, hotel very comfortable, staff pleasant and helpful. It was very hot when we were there so the executive suite was well worth the extra and would recommend this. Spa pool small but great for a relaxing downtime after sightseeing. Food in hotel was good, breakfasts had everything imaginable.

Excellent Choice

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Extremely friendly (and helpful) staff
Cons: No.
Location: The hotel is located on the Kings Court (yard) with enough activity to be entertained but not exhausted.
The hotel is located on the Kings Court (yard) with enough activity to be entertained but not exhausted. It is 5 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the 'old town' area where all the tourists clamber, hence easy to get to all the action but far enough to retreat when needing a rest. The hotel is a high standard, clean well serviced and extremely friendly staff. The pick of our tour!
