“Clean and comfortable”

While clearly in an area of Prague where hotels are concentrated, Louis Leger is only an 8 minute walk to Wenceslas Square. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and even the single beds pushed together were comfortable. A pleasant stay and would repeat the visit.

“Great Service in the heart of Prague”

Louis Leger is great. We had a very quiet room on the 5th floor looking out on to the courtyard. Even though it's on a busy street we heard no noise in the night. Nice comfortable bed, very clean and remodeled bathroom. The service was exceptional. The staff goes out of their way to assist you however they can (especially Adam and Slavek). They are very friendly guys and can help with tours, restaurant ideas, or just about anything else in Prague. Hotel is close to a few good restaurants and within walking distance of some good sites (also just around the corner from the metro). Definitely would stay there again and would recommend. Good value for a nice place!

“Great Hotel, but could be a little closer to old city”

Great hotel and wonderful staff. Room was all we had hoped and rate was fantastic. Only issue was that the hotel was about a 30 minute walk into the old area of the city. Not a big issue for us but would like to be closer. Otherwise fantastic stay!

“Simple and Dependable”

The hotel is located a small walk from the tourist centre of Prague, which means it's not over-run by drunks nor is it surrounded by over-priced crystal shops. The hotel itself is clean and warm. Lots of hot water, a TV and basic amenities (shampoo, soap, etc). The staff ranged from classic Czech brusque to friendly but always professional -- they'll arrange airport transfers and hold luggage. Con: The "double" bed was just two twins pushed together, but were very comfortable anyway. Pro: Our airport shuttle bailed so the hotel arranged a private taxi for the same rate.

“Nice place to stay while in Prague”

The hotel was a very clean, well kept hotel. Like all things in Prague, the hotel is historic and older, but the room was larger than expected. I thought the hotel was extremely classy and well kept.. The hotel has a restaurant, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is parking inside the hotel courtyard, but it was a squeeze to get our compact car inside. I folded my mirrors in, and I had 1/2 inch forgiveness on both sides. Parking in the courtyard is $25 per night, which they don't tell you when you check in, but I would recommend it if your car will fit. The only negative about the hotel is the distance from old town Prague. Most of the the popular areas are 1-2 kilometers away from the hotel. Not a big deal unless you have toddlers like we did. I recommend taking the train, which is located around 4 blocks from the hotel. Exchange rates are a huge rip-off in Prague. Make sure that you ask the hotel receptionist where to exchange your currency for the local currency. Using credit cards is ok, but don't plan to use Euro's or American dollars when shopping or eating out because you will definitely loose money. If you pick the wrong money exchange business, plan to loose 25% on your exchange. Also, shop around and compare before buying anything. You may find certain items marked down 25-50% from one store to the next. lastly, watch for pick pockets. Caught someone trying to steal my camera out of our stroller while we were shopping.
