Great location, but that's about it.Posted May 28, 2012
As other reviewers have said, the location was wonderful. The room, however, was so hot. I finally had them bring up a fan. The hotel is old. My room was small. There was a lot of noise at night that sounded like staff banging doors or something. My biggest pet peeve, however, was the lack of a "do not disturb sign". I was awakened almost every morning by the maid walking into my room after one short knock. Drove me crazy.

Good locationPosted May 9, 2012
Pros: The location, spacious room, updated bath, breakfast room.
Cons: Small lobby area smelled smoky.
Location: Easy walk from train station, close to old town area.
The hotel was in a great location, near Wenceslas Square and the old town area. Our room was spacious and clean, and the hotel had a bit of charm, especially the breakfast room. We had wifi and free breakfast included with our room rate.

Great LocationPosted Sep 14, 2011
The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. It is right in the center of the Old Town. Unlike many other hotels here, it has an elevator and full hotel amenities. An excellent breakfast is served. The only drawback is lack of air conditioning. The rooms have fans, but on a hot day in the summer they can get hot.

Flawlessly fantastic hotelPosted Apr 14, 2007
This hotel was amazing. A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. I would definitely stay there in the future. The location is faultless - 2 mins to old town square, 1 min to Wencelas Square and Mustek underground station, 3 mins to Charles Bridge. The hotel was clean, and our room was one of the largest I've ever had in Europe, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was also great - fresh fruits, yogurt, pastries, breads, meat, cheese, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, and the staff are all friendly and obliging. The only small downside was that the room got very hot at night, and we thought it was silly to be sleeping with air con in early april. Otherwise, a fantastic hotel.
