Great location, great staff, great stay!Posted Dec 6, 2014
Cons: Soundproofing between rooms.
Location: Right by Charles Bridge, access to the Old Town is easy. Prague Castle is a short walk away, and well worth a visit.
Really welcoming and helpful staff, good clean accommodation, great breakfasts and the coolest door lock in the world!

Central locationPosted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff throughout, the location ....
Location: Located at the very start/end of Charles bridge so perfect for exploring all the different areas that make up the town.
This hotel had everything we needed to make our trip a huge success. They picked us up from the airport then waiting at reception was the lovely Martin who gave us very useful advice to make the most of our stay. The location was spot on for exploring the town and to top it off we ate in the resturant and enjoyed a splendid meal with great service. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and set us up for the day... I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Prague.

Brilliant hotel and ideally situatedPosted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Location, value for money, comfortable room, lovely food and helpfulness of the staff - everything!
Cons: The only other thing we would have liked was a bath but the shower and bathroom were of high quality.
Location: Situated right next to the lesser town Charles bridge tower and only a 10-15min stroll to the Old Town Square. It's also not far from the castle area.
The best hotel we've ever stayed in and excellent value for money, we'd love to stay here again. We stayed in the Eighteenth? Century annexe, just a few seconds walk from the main reception and restaurant - practically a hotel in its own right with the creperie, small lounge and free internet use downstairs. The room was spacious with a TV, mini bar, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a lovely hot shower with a selection of toiletries and hair dryer. There was plenty of storage space with dressing gowns and slippers provided. We stayed for 3 nights and had token gifts of a fruit basket, biscuits and sparkling wine. The breakfasts were buffet style with plenty of choice and we could have as much as we wanted with a choice of coffee served to us. We also tried the restaurant and creperie for our evening meals and again the food and service were great with very reasonable prices - hotel guests get a 15% discount. We couldn't fault the helpfulness and efficiency of the staff, including the nice trainee who was clearly thoroughly instructed and who offered advice on various aspects of our trip. They were happy to arrange our (very trustworthy) return taxi and even provided a fr

Our stay in Hotel Pod VeziPosted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: Our room was in the annex building which is on the other side of the street. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Hotel staff was very helpful.
Cons: Its great the way it is!
Location: Close to Charles Bridge, Walking distance to Old Town Square and Prague Castle.
We stayed in Pod Vezi for 6 nights from 11/22/2014 to 11/27/2014. The hotel is conveniently located very close to Charles Bridge. All the POIs are walking distance from the hotel.

Excellent hotel, perfect location.Posted Nov 29, 2014
We stayed at Hotel Pod Vezi for three nights in November. The hotel is absolutely lovely. We had a standard double room in the annex, it was plenty big enough, cosy, clean and comfortable, with a free cobination safe, and each day little complementary extras were left in our room. The bathroom was large with a good shower. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly even before our trip as we emailed a couple of times about airport transfers and room facilities and our enquiries were dealt with immediately. The hotel manager actually came out of the hotel with us to show us the best place to exchange our money. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The service at breakfast was also excellent, freshly squeezed orange juice was available as well as a selection of coffee and as soon as we finished one cup of coffee another was offered. There was a good selection of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, cold meats, cheese and pastries as well as a hot selection. The only thing that we could fault was that the hot food at breakfast could have been kept hotter. We ate one evening in the main restuarant and had a light meal in the creperie, the food was very good and we received a 15% discount on all food and drink. We also got a free pass to the go up the tower of Charles Bridge. The free Wifi in the room was very easy to connect to and a very good speed. We would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel or recommending it to others.

Excellent hotel situated in the perfect place.Posted Nov 28, 2014
Pros: Everything - service, room size and cleanliness, little surprises and the position.
Cons: Shower curtain / screen
Location: Almost on Charles Bridge - you have the best position possible
We were in the annex but don't let it put you off. The hotel is just (5 metres) off Charles Bridge and the staff are really helpful and pleasant. From the start, we felt looked after and special and this improved as the week went on. We were bed and breakfast but had dinner n the restaurant one evening (fantastic food with great service). We also had a crepe in the annex cafe which was also really tasty. I think you would be hard pushed to find a better hotel in Prague. My only (minor) problem was the bathroom did not have a specific shower - there was one over the bath but no curtain / screen. Highly recommended.
