Pros: Large room, excellent breakfast, coffee in lounge
Peaceful setting near castle and adjacent to monastery. Much more desirable than staying in the Old City which is crowded with tourists.

great location, staff, rooms...

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: the location and the service from the staff
Cons: expanded product offer at the terrace
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The building is old and well maintained and has a terrace with a terrific view. The room and bath were very clean and nice. Standard room comes without A/C which might be a problem during the summer. Weather was great so it didn't bother me since they gave me a floor fan. Room was lovely, huge with high ceilings. The location of the hotel is perfect. A couple of minutes walk from the Prague Castle and next to a tram station

Great hotel

I cannot tell you how great an experience this hotel was. It was friendly professional, beautiful and in a great location. I would strongly recommend this hotel for anybody who is visiting prague if you are looking for a special place to stay that will treat you as an individual and not just trourists. We will never say anywhere else while visiting prague again and we will trust me :)

Charming Hotel in Great Location

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Staff, location, charm.
Cons: Not disappointed by anything
Location: Near Palace, Monastary, and tram stop. Plenty of restaurants and cafes.
What a great experience. The front desk staff went "above and beyond". Needed to ship an item and they tried their best to help. Staff all spoke English well. Very helpful no matter what the issue. Stayed during my birthday. We were given glasses of champagne at breakfast to celebrate. This was done by the hotel with no provocation by me or my girlfriend. Later that afternoon was greeted in my room by a full bottle of champagne. The hotel is on top of hill within easy walking distance to many sites. There is also a tram stop (with ticket machine) nearby that makes getting around Prague very easy. I will be staying here next time I come to Prague.

Second time around, just as enjoyable.

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The location is great - it's good to return to a quiet location at the end of a busy day. It's an interesting old building successfully modernised.
Cons: Better water pressure to the top floor to deliver a good shower!
Location: Quiet location but only 5 minutes from the centre by tram. Several places to eat as well as the (good) hotel restaurant.
This was my second stay at the Questenberk which was so good the first time around I wondered if the standard would be as high as I remembered, and it was. The room was very clean with comfortable bed(s). The rooms on the top floor are up in the roof, so very quiet but with small windows. If you want a bigger window, and view, ask for a room overlooking the city on the lower floors. The breakfast buffet is outstanding; I have a limited diet and it wasn't a problem with such a good range of food on offer. The Questenberk is on top of a hill with a great view from the terrace, where you can also eat and drink in fine weather. If you don't fancy eating in the (good) hotel restaurant, there are several decent places to eat within easy walking distance down the hill, including a vegetarian restaurant/cafe. If you don't feel like walking, the 22 tram runs between the hill and the old town at frequent intervals. The hotel organised a taxi for us at 700 Kroner, which we felt was reasonable value and made our arrival and departure easy.

Great hotel but far from most things

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: The staff and the cleanliness of the room.
Cons: There was a strange drop in the floor near the door of our room and I tripped almost every time.
Location: It was far from most things but a five to ten minute walk from the palace.
Wonderful place but it was either a very long walk or a tram ride to most things in which we were interested. The staff was fantastic.

Excellent although pricey.

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Staff is very helpful, cordial and efficient.
Cons: It will definitely be enhance the hotel if a well staffed restaurant is added.
Location: Location is terrific because it is in Praha 1. Walking distance to the Castle, the Charles Bridge and to Old Square where the famous clock is.
Very comfortable. Great place and location. Excellent staff. Hotel needs new chef. The chef or his assistant tried to bill us for complimentary wine from management.
