Pros: Excellent breakfast. Nice area with great views. Very spacious, comfortable room with everything we needed and more (slippers! A fruit bowl! etc etc).
Location: Really close to the castle. Right next to a really nice park. A short walk down the hill to the old town and new town.
Excellent hotel in a quiet area of Prague. Very nice welcome from the staff, including a free drink and lots of info on what to do in Prague.

Excellent Hotel

Posted Mar 15, 2015
We stayed there for five nights. The hotel is one of the best hotels at which I've ever stayed. Our room was cozy and elegant, and staffs were all friendly and quite helpful. I'll definitely recommend this hotel when you have a chance to go to Praha.

Good hotel to stay in near the castle

Posted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: Service is impeccable. Breakfast is delicious for an extra fee.
Cons: Keep it up!
Location: Prague Castle.
The service is excellent! THey really take care of you. The rooms are a little small which is quite the norm in Prague. It is about a 5 minute walk to the castle. We stayed at Old town for 2 nights and here for 2 nights and it allowed us to explore the castle area in those 2 days. It is not close to the Old town but if you just want to explore the castle area, this is the place to stay. Restaurants within the area is more pricey compared to old town, but that is to be expected.

Excellent Boutique Hotel close to all amenities

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, reastaurant
Cons: A proper bar area to relax in
We stayed here as a couple on a short city break. Firstly, if there was the possibility to give the staff an extra star over and above the 5 allowed I would do so, welcoming and helpful way over and above the normal call of duty. Nothing was too much trouble and anything we needed organised was done with a minimum of fuss and maximum helpfulness. The location of the hotel is superb, close to a tram line but really only a 15 minute stroll down the hill to the old town, and a trip up to the middle station of the finicular and a pleasant stroll through the park to return. The hotel restaurant was excellent although a little quiet on the night we dined. Breakfast is again excellent and reflects the output from a top class kitchen.

Excellent hotel close to Prague Castle

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: The staff friendliness and willingness to help.
Location: Strahov monastery is 10 meters (30 ft) away, Loreto Church is. At 200 meters (600 feet) and Prague Castle is 300 meters away.
The hotel service was excellent, ten staff friendly and the room comfortable. It is well located, right next to Strahov Monastery, and very close to Prgaue Castle and to the Loreto church. Of one wants to visit Charles bridge and the Old Town, you walk down the hill for 8 minutes and you are there. If you are not in the mood you may take the 22 tram that takes you there.

Quiet and friendly hotel near castle and cathedral

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: I loved the thoughtful little touches - the drink and fruitbowl on arrival, the helpfulness of the staff and actually the ease of the location.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind!
Location: This is well situated for the castle, cathedral and the monastery that brews its own beers. It's up a hill but straightforward walk to the river.
The area is quiet, so not for the partygoers, but great for couples or even families. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink of sparkling wine on arrival, and given a very personal introduction to the hotel, its facilities and the support the staff could give during our stay in Prague. The rooms were spacious, slightly old-style decor, which is in keeping with the way the building has been decked out, with an understated old world grandeur but not in your face "bling". Water was included in the room, alng with some fruit, and the minibar was well-stocked with reasonably priced items. The breakfast was quite a varied buffet, with additional items to order for a fee such as champagne. The view from the dinning room down across Prague is impressive. There is also a terrace bar outside, some areas of which you can see a similar view as from the dining room, but it is a bit more secluded overall. I would definitely consider this hotel again next time I visit Prague.

We loved this hotel. All of the staff wonderful and so thoughtful. We loved the mulled wine in the evenings, and really appreciated the all- day coffee in the lounge - Thank you. Perfect location near Prague Castle, and easy walk or tram ride into city centre.

A great find!

Posted Dec 11, 2014
Location: Go to the castle in the early morning or late in the evening to avoid the crowds.
Outstandingly warm welcome. Friendly staff took time to listen to our questions and give us helpful advice. Quiet location within easy walking distance of Prague Castle, Loreta and Petrin Tower . Tram 22 from the nearby square, runs near the Charles Bridge and takes you over the river (seemed to run every few minutes and was extremely cheap!).
