Acceptable rooms, too much heat, good breakfast, tub was small with no shower curtain. Was a solid walk back from Old Town square, bring your walking shoes.

This hotel does not deserve a 3 star raiting. No Internet service in the rooms as they advertise, the credit card machine "did not work" They demanded cash for any incidental expenses. I do not recommend this hotel.

Cool Hotel in PraguePosted Jan 13, 2010
Really nice little hotel in Prague! Big rooms for Europe! Breakfast was lovely - Location was quiet and only 10 minute walk to the busling tourist center. Veggie resturant nearby too. Bathtubs are very small in Czech.

Best Bang for the BujckPosted Dec 13, 2009
The hotel was delightful, breakfast incredible. The room was spacious, clean, and charming. It is located in Praha 2 within walking distance of Old Town, and Wenceslas Square and a short 1/2 block from the tram. Minor draw backs were the rock hard pillows and the sporatic wireless access (which is available only int the dining room). However, I will definitely return on my next visit to Prague.

Great Location, PricePosted Dec 4, 2009
We stayed 8 days at this hotel and had a very positive experience. It is true that the neighborhood isn't in the historic Old Town (Stare Mesto) area but for us that was a good thing since Old Town can get very noisy with drunken revelers at night. This hotel is in Vinohrady, a lovely residential neighborhood, and is quite conveniently located for walking to Wenceslas Square or the Opera House, or jumping on the subway stop, located 2 blocks away at I.P. Pavlova. Our room was very spacious and clean but consistently overheated by at least 25 degrees. I also prefer a shower stall rather than the squat-tub showers.

Friendlyest and cleanest welcome you,ll get in praguePosted Dec 4, 2009
This hotel was very clean and welcoming, the staff went out of there way to help us even offering to pre booking our boarding passes for our return journey to save us time on our journey, the rooms are very spacious, the only comment we can make on the room is no shower curtain and could do with another pillow. We would definately come back to this hotel. The location was also good to get to the old town and King Charles Bridge(you must visit this and the castle). Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. This is a very good hotel for any time of the year.

So-SoPosted Oct 13, 2009
The room was lovely and clean couldn't fault the housekeeper. However we were surprised how basic the room was, didn't have a clock, kettle or tea and coffee, no shower curtain just very basic. The telly was in German so if you wanted to relax back at the holiday you couldn't. The woman on the reception was a bit miserble and rude whether she couldn't understand us properly or not i don't know. Breakfast was basic too but did the job. Saying the that the hotel was in a really good location only a 5-10 minute walk from the square which was handy if you had a busy day shopping. And near some good restuarants. The tran is only a 2 minute walk which you can just hop on if you don't want to walk.

Front Desk service was lacking.Posted Oct 5, 2009
On two different evenings I tried to call the front desk to leave a wake up call (since the room did not have an alarm clock). One night it was around 10pm; the next night it was after midnight. On both occasions, I called at least 3 or 4 times to leave my request. There was no answer at the front destk, so I had to get dressed & go downstairs to leave my request in person. Also, the person I was visiting was unable to contact me as the desk didn't answer the phone, therefore they had to physically come to the hotel to speak to me. This happened on Sunday 9-20-09.

Excellent servicePosted Oct 3, 2009
We stayed for five nights at the end of August and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The male staff at reception are very helpful and kind, the buffet breakfast was quite varied and substantial, continental breakfast, excellent quality. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, the maid service is excellent, everyday fresh towels and bed made. We will definetely return and recommend. The only negative is that is not that close to the old city, but metro station is very close.
