Well-appointed hotel with good facilities.

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Quiet. Good night's rest. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. NB: visited in March.
Cons: More coffee sachets in room perhaps. Visitors advised to look out for logo (of Three Storks) rather than sign.
Location: Located in Old Town (Mala Strana) close to tram stop, pubs, coffee houses. Very close to Malastranska Metro Stop (Line A).
Upgraded to double room on arrival at no extra cost. Very clean. Lovely old-fashioned beam ceilings. Contactless hotel keys. Safe in room. Good range of food for breakfast (including mixed vegetables). Comfortable bed. Located in old town close to tram stops but in quiet square. Very picturesque. Building well maintained. Helpful staff. English spoken. Good range of foreign language TV (including Moroccan TV and BBC World World Service).

A refurbished hotel beneath Prague Castle.

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city near both tram and metro.
A great place to stay, we were in a spacious and comfortable room (22) with all facilities we could want. The staff were helpful and the restaurant excellent.

Excellent hotel at a great location

Posted Jan 8, 2014
Pros: Hospitality of the staff. Rooms were large and nicely designed.
Location: The hotel is located minutes away from Charles bridge and the old town, plenty of sightseeing opportunities. Prague castle is also only minutes away.
The hotel is located at the feet of their parliament hill. Just far enough from the hordes of tourists and the noise, but still close enough to make sightseeing easy and convenient. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are specious and modern. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Big thanks to Helena that helped me choose various tours around the city and truly made sure that I felt welcome and accommodated. My stay included breakfast that had a variety of eggs, meats and pastries to choose from. If I ever go back, I'll be sure to get a room there again.

a great location.

Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Location and style
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Handy base to walk to all sights or use tram and metro which are very close by.
The location of the hotel is great as it is very close to the attractions of Mala Strana as well as the castle. Also connections to the airport are easy as the metro stop is about 5 mins walk. We liked the hotel, however didn't give full marks due to breakfast. It was poorly managed by the single member of staff. Tables weren't cleared away and I had to go and find her most days for her to set a table for us/ bring plates out/ refill the milk etc. However, this would not stop me from staying here in the future.

Excellent hotel in a good location

Located in a very convenient area just below the Prague Castle, and a few minute's walk from the Charles Bridge, this hotel was both comfortable and casual. We had a generous sized corner room with an excellent bathroom. Good breakfast was included, and the reception staff were very helpful.

One night in Prague

Posted Jun 13, 2013
Pros: The old school design mixed with the contemporary everything else.-
Cons: Just being able to find the place...do the research beforehand...
Location: Best restaurant was within the hotel as well as the other down on the corner toward the square...yum!! And we are foodies:)
My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon whirlwind tour of Europe (that's our personality). The hotel was difficult to find and not speaking any part of the language was another issue but anyway, we found our way to old town across the bridge and it was on a corner -- perfect spot. Although the hotel seems pricey, the city itself was extremely affordable and better yet, the restaurant there as well as the one down the street on the corner (ask the concierge, I can't remember the name but have a photo...) were amazing.- That being said, because we know where it is for next time, without a doubt we would stay here again. Breakfast and service were great as well as the people who actually spoke English. I had been to Europe numerous times and always skipped Prague.- it was amazing but difficult and pricey to get in and out of.- FYI.. Come open- minded. And the cabs try to rip you off...it is a little of the "old communist way..." still. More than I would have ever imagined but so beautiful.- Enjoy!

Great location, good hotel

Posted Jun 9, 2013
Modern, but not particularly luxurious. The rooms are large by European standards, and the front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was rather ordinary but adequate except that it was not restocked regularly. The neighborhood is great and the hotel is close to tram/subway stops. Half the time we had to complain to get the room cleaned. Toiletries were not replaced. The hotel and staff were good, but not great.
