Nice and central and close to the castle

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The décor and nice and quiet.
Cons: The shower did not drain quickly enough and you had to turn it off mid shower to let it drain. The cooked breakfast was only lukewarm at best.
Location: Visit the castle, Charles Bridge and gardens.
The hotel was nice and quiet. The only issues were the bar was hit or miss whether it was open or not at night and you could not have a relaxing drink before turning in for the night. One night the bar had closed by 8.20 pm. The cooked breakfast was also either cold or lukewarm. I preferred the cold meat options but my husband like his hot breakfast. The rooms were cleaned daily and we were giving a fan as I was too hot.

Pleasant hotel. Good location

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Good location. Pleasant atmosphere
Location: Charles Bridege only 5 minutes walk. Castle very close. Many nice bars and restaurants close by
Very pleasant hotel. Welcoming staff and comfortable, spacious room. We had a view of the castle from our room and it was only about a 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge. Lesser town is much quieter and less frenetic than the other side and yet still very atmospheric.

The Three Storks Hotel in a quiet location.

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Location, service and people.
Cons: Tissues in the room.
Location: Excellent for most parts of historic Prague
We were very pleased with the excellent welcome from receptions' Helena on our arrival. We had a choice to upgrade to a bigger room but we were satisfied with the standard of the room booked. The room and the en-suite were fitted out in a modern style in the period building. The location was perfect in a square surrounded by the Czech parliament and Senate buildings under the castle and centrally located for easy walking to the Old Town and Castle. Away from the noisy trams we found the location very quiet and the size of the hotel giving a cosy but very artistic feel. A good choice of breakfast food was enjoyed in pleasant suroundings. If we choose to return to this beautiful city we would definately return to this most hospitable and comfortable small hotel and would certainly recommend it to our friends.

Well managed hotel

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: The breakfast is simply great
Cons: There is no decaf and the music in the morning is not always appropriate .The hotel transport to the airport is 650 Kc and the AAA taxi was 275 kc !
Location: Lots of walking and its beautiful.
Choose your restaurant with care because many will overcharge. The streets are safe , clean and just full of people.

Almost a great hotel

Posted Jun 8, 2014
This hotel has the potential to be a 4 star hotel. The location was good, within walking distance to the Castle and Charles bridge yet situated in quieter area than old town. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The facility was clean and breakfast wonderful. The bathroom was very nice and had an amazing shower! However, we booked the Deluxe Triple room because my son and I wanted two separate beds and that was the only room that offered that. The description also said it was a "Sleep Number" mattress. Not true! The queen size mattress was not a standard thickness mattress and situated on a very hard platform. It was extremely uncomfortable for me. I called down to inquire about switching rooms and was told all other rooms had the same mattress. The second bed was a little better but was a sofa sleeper pull out. I had to get another comforter to lay on which helped slightly but since we're were paying top dollar, I would have expected a comfortable Sleep Number mattress as described. If not for the bed, we would stay there again. The bad bed is a deal breaker for me.

A fantastic place to stay in Prague!

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Put complimentary bottled water in the rooms. Provide some basic international channels to the TV service.
Location: Great for Prague Castle, Charles Bridge. Easy access to the bus and metro system if you are all walked out!
I thought the Hotel Three Storks was fantastic. It was very well appointed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was opulent and very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after a full day walking. It was really easy to access from the public transport, which also meant that we could use the metro system to get to the airport or further reaches of town, which was a big bonus. It's proximity to Charles bridge was excellent, so you could enjoy Prague city centre, without being kept awake during the night. The free wifi, meant we could facetime our daughter whilst we were away, which was also a bonus. The only things they could improve on are: 1. Having some international channels on the TV, for that down time before you go out to dinner. However, that's just a small point which didn't effect our holiday at all. 2. The mini bar is also a definite avoid, due to the usual high prices, however, there are many small shops within the vicinity. 3. They don't provide complimentary bottled water in the room, which really should be a staple for this quality hotel Overall, despite theses small points, it's a 10/10 for The Three Storks. If you are going to Prague, you should stay here!

City Break in Impressive Prague

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Very well located, near the Charles Bridge; very spacious & comfortable room; extremely helpful & friendly hotel staff; complimentary wine on arrival.
Cons: Lengthy waiting time for Expedia booked airport transfer upon arrival - the hotel's own transfer back to the airport was much better & very efficient.
Location: Excellent location in the Lesser Town (Mala Strana), just a few minutes walk to Charles Bridge, & in the other direction to Prague Castle.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night break at the Three Storks in Prague - a very impressive city. A very relaxed atmosphere in this very well located hotel, just a few minutes walk from the splendid Charles Bridge &, in the other direction, up the hill to the world's largest castle & a feast of historical sites. Well worth visiting the Staropramen Brewery on Nadrazni Street, as a 30-40 minute walk from the hotel, or a short tram ride. Highly recommended for food and drink are the Potrefena Husa restaurants on Nadrazni Street & Nrodni Street - excellent quality and value. The restaurants in the main tourist areas offer far less value. We'd certainly highly recommend Prague as one of the top cities to see, particularly for it's history and Gothic architecture.

Hotel in great location, clean and friendly.

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: Great location, just a short walk from Charles Bridge. Clean, tidy, very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Cons: This may seem trivial, but a simple breakfast tea would have been nice, as fruit tea or Earl Grey were the only options.
Location: The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge and a 10-15 minute walk (uphill) to the castle. A good choice of restaurants and bars nearby.
We stayed for a long weekend with friends. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side as it rained most of the time, but this didn't spoil our time in Prague. The staff in the hotel reception provided umbrellas, also recommending and booking the hop-on / hop-off sightseeing bus, which helped to keep us dry. This was a great way to see the tourist parts of the city at a reasonable cost and the ticket lasted for 48hrs. We also pre-booked taxis with reception, via email, which collected us from / and took us to the airport on time. The breakfast was 'help yourself' and very substantial, with all the usual continental foods, cereals, fruit, yoghurts and a choice of a cooked 'English' breakfast. The rooms were clean and modern, with pleasant toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities.
