“~Great Hostoric Center Hotel”
Great location! good foo! Nice breakfast! We stayed as couple at it was very nice stay indeed. Good place to start sightseeing.
“Ideal for travelers confortable in a four star hotel”
Great location, and the third floor interior room was well decorated, clean, and quite. The bathroom was clean and modern. There are better hotels in Prague, but we will return to this hotel every time.
“Great hotel for couples as well as singles.”
The hotel was well located in the Old Town. Very accessible to walking everywhere in the area and to most transportation. The staff were very helpful as well as extremely courteous and nice. The rooms were lovely , with an old world decor that made you feel like you were really in Europe and not in the USA. The hotel could be a little noisy at times because of the music bar downstairs and the tourist traffic outside. There was no elevator and no real lobby to sit in. The breakfast buffet was more than ample and very good.
“good but noisy”
Hotel is very nice. Location - to dream about - rigth at the entrance to the Karlov Most (Charles Bridge). The only downside thing is - if your room's windows face the street - you can not open windows - it is very noisy , a lot of people walking by and a lot of exited talk on the street. There is also a night club in the hotel which works until 6am. So at 6 in the morning a lot of people get kicked out of the club and they are not trying to keep quiet... Otherwise, if you do not have to open your windows it is perfect. And you might want to open them due to the lack of airconditioners in rooms.
“Good news; bad news”
We booked this hotel on Expedia because it was centrally located and appeared to be a good value -- it was both, but there are some drawbacks. First the good stuff: The hotel is literally three doors down from the Charles Bridge and very convenient to all major sights in Prague. The included breakfast was very good and provided variety, quantity and quality. The traditionally furnished room was clean and attractive. Then the not-so-good stuff: The hotel was almost too close to the "action" with the Charles Bridge drawing huge crowds (especially on Sunday the day of our arrival). The room was uncomfortably hot with no temperature control and with windows which when open would seem inviting to cat burglars (maybe I'm just paranoid). Last but not least, there was NO SHOWER, only a tub and a hose (this may be common in European hotels, but we found it an unpleasant surprise).
