“"Convenient Walking Distance"”

The staff of the Intercontinental was remarkably professional and efficient. We enjoyed our stay at this fine hotel and appreciated having our needs anticipated. Upon arriving at our room we were pleased to see the room was already lit, a tray with snacks and water, and music was softly playing. When we returned after having walked around for miles it was always a pleasure to have the hotel's comforts awaiting us. We would find slippers and floor mat placed next to our bedside, our bed turned down, music playing, and even a card with a "bedtime story"! The view from our room was fantastic. We could see the well-tended gardens below our window and in the distance was the river. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to most of the sights that we planned to visit. We were able to walk to nearly all of our destinations, and had plenty of variety with the restaurants in the neighborhood. One nearby outdoor cafe that was particularly good was "Al Dente".

An absolutely delightful experience. We were made to feel welcome and special. Would stay there again if we go to Prague. Also, most of the attractions/places of interest are within walking distance.

“Excellent Hotel”

The InterContinental Hotel Prague is exactly what you expect from this chain. The hotel was in a great location with extremely helpful staff. The hotel itself offers a wide range of amenities to include a spa/pool area that offers massages, two different restaurant options with a separate breakfast buffet as well. One of the conveniences that was not listed on the hotel website (that I could see) was that they have an in-house Casa Del Habana (Cigar store). While this is not essential, it was a nice treat for myself and my brother-in-law. The area surrounding the hotel offers both top of the line dining and shopping and cheaper options for those on a limited budget. The food choices in the surrounding area were excellent and the hotel concierge was always available and friendly in providing options, directions and procuring reservations as well as transportation for hotel guests. This was a fabulous hotel that left very little to be desired, and that was provided if you simply asked.

“Short stay”

Excellent hotel. Go there early and they let us check in 11.45am. Also agreed to a 2pm checkout without a hassle. Absolutely brilliant location for sightseeing. Walked to all the places which were within 10-15 minutes walk. Recommended.

“Great Place to Stay”

We checked in and were given a wonderful room with a view of the river & bridge. The next day we took a stroll down the street and realized we were in the best part of town. We were also near to all the attractions. I would recommend this hotel especially if you like staying at hotel with global standards. We also upgraded to use the lounge and the staff was super!

My wife and I stayed in the Intercontinental and we could not have been any more satisfied. It was in the best location in old town. Beautiful view of the River and the hotel itself was beautiful. The room service was unbelievable. If you called them, they referenced you by name and were at your door within a minute. Pillow menus in the room really added to our comfort of the overall room. Bed was extremely comfortable and TV was a nice big flat screen TV. Concierge was always helpful in answering our questions regarding our trips in Prague.
