Amazing location right next to the bridge. And the tavern downstairs has outstanding beer. If you pick this place there are a couple of things you should know. The rooms are upstairs with out an elevator (normal for Prague). And if you pick the 4th floor like we did - the walk up with suitcases can be a little challenging. And you get a code to get it. The code is delivered at 3:00 so if you arrive early - you have to wait (you can drink great beer downstairs). If you get in really early - you will have to find a place to store your suitcases until you can check in. And, the main door (for the bar and hallway) isn't opened until 11:00 am so if you stay multiple nights and go out early - you will need a separate code to get in the front door. That code isn't given with the room code. Get all this worked out before you go out without your phone and can't get back in. But the rooms are amazing and good value. I would highly recommend it as long as you are aware of the challenges I discussed above.

This place is PERFECTLY located in Prague. Right next to the Charles bridge. On the bottom floor is a pub with great beer and good food that seems to be a local favorite. The code literally doesn't work until 3:00 but that is fine as we arrived at 2:40 and had a couple of beer in the pub as we waited. The stairs are a bit of a climb if you have suitcases that are heavy - but the room is amazing. We chose the loft which was just perfect. We travel a lot to unique places and this was as good as we could have asked for

Our family had an amazing stay in Prague and the Orea Place Charles Bridge. Clean, comfy, and great space! Kids loved having a whole room to them selves. Adults loved having room to themselves…and a sweet terrace for coffee! It was a great fit for us, we will definitely stay here again.

Hugh apartment in perfect location
Biggest apartment we've ever stayed in. There's a mini market across the street and ATM next door with restaurants and shops clise by. Fridge and kettle in the room. Asked for a cot and it was there in the room when we landed. Glasses but no plates or cutlery in the room. Umbrellas down stairs for the day out. Would highly recommend. No reception but didn't need one. Towels and shampoos etc plus had 2 small bottles of wine and 2 cans of beer in the fridge.

Great location and reasonable price. Check in is a little confusing, but great communication from the manager. Great service and they really helped me through the check in process. History is everywhere. I loved walking around the city and area. It is a few blocks from the stairs to the palace and around the corner from Charles Bridge. I would stay here again!

Firstly I would like to state how disappointing the check-in procedure is for this hotel. After doing a pre check -in before arrival, I still hadn't received a code for entry to the property so when we arrived we waited 40 minutes before we had access. The hotel itself has no manned reception just a code access, and the staff member who answered the phone was quite rude, to the point where we were blamed for not having the code, I also then had to WhatsApp this member of staff our passports even though I had previously done this. Unhappy with having to divulge our personal details to an unknown number. On the ground floor is an extremely busy lokal bar which was very noisy through the evening and night. The room itself was basic but nice and the location was a stone's throw from Charles Bridge. Highlight: location. Everything else was below acceptable for a hotel in this day and age.

i keep coming back because it is a fun place in a great location for a decent price. the hotel is right above a ‘classic’ beer and czech food hall, which even appears somewhat popular among locals. i find that convenient and charming, but with the windows open on a summer evening the rooms are not exactly quiet.

Absolutely perfect location. Very spacious rooms. Nice staff and very good breakfast. On the negative side, the strong smell of food from the restaurant below. Also the WiFi is very unreliable.

The property is located above a very busy and noisy bar and a cannabis shop. You have to lug your bags on winding stairs where All lights are motion detected and very dark. There is complete misrepresentation of parking. Parking is 15 minutes away . Both the property and Wxoecia should take this off of the amenities list. I needed a hotel with parking and was fooled by what was said on the Expedia website. There are better hotels in the area without parking facilities. The breakfast is very very basic.

Olde Worlde Charm!
I wanted to stay in a piece of history and this Hotel fulfilled my wish. Hundreds of years old, but don’t worry - modern bathroom! The restaurant and bar are always full of travellers and locals owing to the ambience and good food! Dinner service was excellent! Waiter helped us to understand the Czech specialties. Experience worth repeating! Don’t expect air con, open the windows and soak up ancient Prague!

The hotel doesn`t have an elevator or A/C
We didn`t stay at the hotel because I injured a tendon in my knee while taking my hand luggage to our assigned room in the attic.I had to make another reservation at a hotel with an elevator. The lack of an elevator should be emphasized when describing this hotel. Also the lack of air conditioning should be mentioned [the description says that a fan is provided]

Great location and lovely rooms - but a noisy bar
We had a very friendly welcome at the Lokal and the staff were very helpful. The room was huge and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed. The only real downside was that the pub downstairs is very popular and people spill out onto the street (below our window) to drink late at night. We had a fan in the room to cool the air but really would have preferred to open the window - but it was far too noisy to do this. More English language channels on TV would have been welcome - there were dozens of channels in other languages but in English we only had 2 US business news channels and France 24 in English for rolling news.

Top class the Lokal Inn
Two weeks stay in the Lokal Inn which we understand is quite unusual and rare. However, we enjoyed every minute of Prague and staying in the hotel. The staff are outstanding, always helpful and friendly and with a smile. The bedroom was spacious and just right. The little downside there is no lift in this 300 year hundred magnificent historical building and my lovely wife struggles with stairs - but just braved it out as she also loved the hotel. Central to this part of the historical town and especially the Charles Bridge and the river.

The location of this property is incredible. Just around the corner from the Charles Bridge. So close to everything. The restaurant had some very tasty meals and was reasonably priced as well. The room itself was large and comfortable. It was a little hot while we were there so it was nice that fans were supplied. We did have one issue with one waiter but all of the other restaurant staff were great and the service was fast.

This hotel is modern and unique. They have a good restaurant on the ground level which is very popular. We stayed in room #12 and the room itself was clean and comfortable but down side is that this has been a hotter than normal summer. There is no air conditioning which is typical but the room is also right above the kitchen. So combined with the heat rising from below, it was extremely hot and very difficult to sleep. They had a fan in the room which was very helpful- we had it pointed right at us at night with the windows open. But, being a popular restaurant and fun to place to hang, there were many people smoking in the street below our window which made all the smoke go into our room and was also quite noisy late into the evening. The breakfast was great! The staff was friendly and so helpful! The location is awesome as it’s just around the corner from Charles Bridge. We liked the hotel overall but just difficult with it being one of the hottest summers in Europe this year and our room being over the restaurant. We would recommend this hotel, definitely! But just be prepared if you travel in summer and also maybe ask for a room not above the kitchen.

Lokal inn hotel in Prague
Lovely stay at lokal inn enjoyed the fact that it was typically Czech and all the locals gather round in the evening restaurant very busy had a bit of a glip as I made a reservation a week before going and they ran out of most things but they were very good and we had lunch free of charge as they didn't have what I wanted on the menu. I would however recommend the restaurant and the hotel it's nice to see traditional places and they offered that. Very happy would definetley stay here when I book next year.

We loved the Lokal! Great location near Charles Bridge. Awesome restaurant too. We had a room at the top and it was great-lots of atmosphere. You have to park a ways away but you can drop off your luggage and the staff will help you out to the best parking. Staff also will make lots of suggestions and in particular, Lanka was super helpful for us when a cheap electric adaptor blew up in our room-do not buy from store across the street!

Perfect Prague Stay
This hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. Its strategic location in the Malá Strana neighborhood allowed us to maximally enjoy this highly touristic city. We were at a walking distance from all of the main touristic attractions such as Charles Bridge, the old downtown area with the famous astronomical clock, etc. A nearby tram station also made it convenient to hop on and ride to the Prague Castle when we got tired of walking. After soaking in all the hustle and bustle of Prague, we were able to retrieve to the quieter area where the hotel is located. Despite the many surrounding restaurants, including the hotel’s one, which attracted tourists and locals equally to their Czech food specialities and the locally brewed beer, the hotel’s double windows seemed to keep all the noise at bay and we were able to sleep like logs. Our stay kicked off perfectly with the highly reliable taxi service that is provided by the hotel at a very reasonable price. Our driver, Peter, was very professional, serviceable and helpful with many tips about the city. Upon our arrival, the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. To our surprise, we were provided with a mobile phone with free internet service, local and international calls. We stayed in the family suite, which was very clean and spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel provided an amazing breakfast service, including options of hot meals prepared on the spot. We would definitely be back.
