The best location in Praha! Hotel is pleasant, very clean and staff is well prepared and helpful. And the coffee shop next to it has the best expresso you could expect.

Wonderful hotel, location

The hotel was beautiful, our apartment was beautiful. It was located in a great, central location. Our windows were kept open and it wasn't loud at night. Front desk was very helpful. It's across the street from a nice micro-brewery to boot!

Highly recommended place to stay in Prague

Posted Jan 14, 2014
What a delightful place to stay! Clean and spacious apartment and I was upgraded to the generously sized New York suite on arrival. Very accommodating staff and helpful. Quiet street but close to the Old Square. Some of the other suites are enormous and charming with ancient beams and would suit a family or two couples. Would love to return.

Perfectly Prague

Posted Sep 8, 2013
Our stay here was fantastic beginning to end. The staff is lovely and more than happy to help you with anything you need during your stay - from restaurant reservations to sight-seeing recommendations to booking transportation to the airport. The location is perfect! Most of the attractions are in the Prague 1 area and this hotel is perfectly nestled between the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and the Jewish Quarter. The lofted room we stayed in was far beyond my expectations for the price point. There was a cute kitchenette upstairs and the bedroom downstairs opened up to a courtyard. We will definitely stay here again.

Football and History in one trip

Posted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: The hotel has centuries of history and the room (a junior suite?) was huge, with kitchenette and substantial dining table, easy chairs.
Cons: Nothing obvious
Location: A superb, well attended coffee shop next door, satisfied late breakfast and a local "Brewery Pub" nearby served excellent food and beers.
The trip was arranged to combine Super Cup football, with a flavour of the history and culinary treats offered by the city of Prague. As a city break, it was superb, with no language problems, even when neither party understood, smiles and hand gestures resolved any difficulties. The hotel is well placed in the cobbled streets of Old Town Prague, less than 15 mins from the Shuttle Bus stop to the airport (which is the recommended way to travel), and around 10 mins from trams in the other direction. The hotel was steeped in history, with a small but welcoming reception, and the room huge, with substantial dining table. The adjoining kitchenette was complete with excellent cooking facilities and utensils. The reception staff spoke excellent English, were friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the best way to see the city, as well as recommended routes for buses and Trams. A minor problem with the TV remote was treated as a major incident and resolved instantly. I cannot recommend this hotel and Prague enough.

Good position and facilities

Posted Aug 23, 2013
I was pleased with the hotel, which was very central as advertised - just a few minutes walk from Charles Bridge. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was clean. It was nice to have a kitchen and seating area as well a bedroom. The only other comment I'd make is that I don't remember it being mentioned on the website that our two rooms were separated by a fairly steep flight of stairs. Not a problem for us, but it might be for some other guests and I suggest that any such potential access problems should be highlighted - not just for Retezova but for all hotels.

Superb boutique hotel

Pros: Big spacious room. Clean and comfy. Everything you need is there.
Cons: None I can think of
Location: Best location
The staff was awesome. So helpful and nice. Thanks to ADELA and her team. The room was clean and comfortable. Spacious too. I stayed in 2 different rooms and both are comfortable and nice. The location of this hotel is superb. So near to all the touristy places. If tired, can always come back and rest. Also near the metro. In fact, it's near everywhere :). Will recommend to anyone be it single or family or group. Keep up the great work. Cafe next door is great too. Serves one of the best coffee.
