“unbelievable location, comfort, helpful staff”

1 minute walk to old town square, 5 minute walk to Charles bridge. The road it's on is somewhat sleepy given it's proximity to everything else. Amazingly quiet given the fact that you just walk one street over and it's very busy! I highly recommend it - clean, easy, comfortable.

“Great hotel.”

Our room was amazing. It had a large seating area, well appointed bathroom, a sink and mini bar fridge, useful for cooling water. The room looked down on to a pretty courtyard where food and drinks were served. We can recommend the raspberry milkshakes! The breakfast buffet had a good range of food with staff always aware when food needed replenishing. The restaurant, like the rest of the hotel, was sympathetically renovated. Prices for an evening meal were high, even with a 2 for 1 offer.

“Great Location for Prague”

The Iron Gate is in a wonderful location for thise staying in Prague. The large hotel rooms are tucked away amungst the small streets of the Old Town. In a perfect position for going out for food, drinks and sight seeing.

“Great at The Iron Gate”

We spent 5 great nights at the Iron Gate Hotel and were really impressed.From the moment we arrived until the time we left the staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel totally at home.The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean and was totally worth the cost. We found the hotel perfectly situated as it is within walking ditance of all the main attractions of Prague but is in a quiet street so we were never disturbed by passers by. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at The Iron Gate Hotel and would definately recommend it to others and would return ourselves.

The Iron Gate is a gem very close to all the action. Only meters from the centre of the city amid a wide range of dining options and walking distance to most of the key highlights in the city. The hotel facilities are good and the staff excellent and only to willing to help visitors to their country.

“"Fantastic Hotel"”

This is a great hotel, particularly if you want to stay somewhere a little different. The beauty of this hotel is it isn’t a chain, all the rooms are unique and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed here with our 3 year old son and it was fantastic due to its central location. The staff were so helpful, storing the buggy in reception so we didn’t have to take it back to the room daily and the hotel was quiet in the evening. On our next visit to Prague we would definitely consider staying here again, it really is a beautiful, clean and a helpful hotel. They even arranged transport back to the airport!

“Excellent location, great staff and good value for money”

This hotel is a stunning little gem, right in the heart of the Old Town, the prettiest part of Prague. The staff were very welcoming and helpfuk at all times. The building itself it lovely and there is free internet access for guests whick made on checking in online for the return flight nice and easy. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food quality. The bedroom itself was quite small with no natural light but as you get a seperate lounge the space doesn't feel too tight. Overall a great place to stay.

“The Only Hotel You Need To Look At!!!”

This hotel is truely 5 star throughout, the rooms are spotless, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The Service was attentive, yet discreet, and the breakfast was the kind you'd pay serious money for alone! The location was, as everything else, perfect. Literally a minute's walk to the town square, but in a quiet, and pleasent side street, so we could have our windows open, with no noise. All staff were pleasant, spoke excellent English, and were very helpfull. We couldn't imagine going back to Prague and not staying at The Iron Gate.

“Superb”

We had 5 days in Prague and wanted to explore by foot wherever possible. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, being just a 2 minute stroll to the Old Town Square through the covered walkways. The hotel was superb, beautifully appointed, with excellent and helpful staff. Whilst we were in the heart of the City, we felt as if we were well away from the hustle and bustle when we were in the hotel - either in the room or the lovely courtyard. Hotel rates were very reasonable for a 5 star hotel, and whilst we only had a standard room, there was plenty of room, all of the amenities you would hope for, and lovely touches (a complimentary bottle of champagne brought to our room on my birthday). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Iron Gates to anyone travelling to Prague.
