Great hotelPosted Dec 2, 2013
Stayed here for a long weekend with a friend, the double room was a great price and very good size... The hotel is in an easy location for exploring the city, the staff friendly and very helpful. I recommend it to anyone, plus the building has great history which makes for a fun story!

Absolutely Lovely! Spotlessly Clean! PERFECT!Posted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Light, bright, spotlessly clean and genuinely friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing it's perfect.
Location: Very central, walking distance to everything. Ask the staff to recommend local restaurants, we tried 2 and they were great.
3 night stay at the Unitas and what a lovely hotel this is! Rooms are spacious, we had a lobby, bedroom and huge bathroom. Mini-bar, safe, tv, free wifi, hairdrier, toiletries, etc. Beds are big and comfy, white bedding and thick warm duvets. The windows open and there is heating/air-con remote control. This is a spacious, quirky hotel built around a courtyard. There are info cards on the breakfast table, with the history of the place. It's decorated in white, cream, light browns. Wide corridors, light, bright rooms. It's beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely - ask for omelette, pancakes, etc. They'll make them fresh for you. Lots of choice including fresh fruit salads. The breakfast room is stunning. It's a shame they don't open as a restaurant in the evenings, but with only 22 rooms, it's understandable. There is a 'piano room' a lounge area where you can sit and read or use the computer. There are computers available if you haven't got your own; also a small library where you can borrow books and dvds. The hotel provide small snacks and refreshments in the late afternoon in the reception lobby, lovely when you get back from a long day. The hotel is spacious, with wide corridors and tea/coffee corners on every floor where you can sit or just make a drink to take back to your room. Read the reviews on this place - all these people can't be wrong. We will definitely return to the Unitas Hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Another glowing reviewPosted Nov 27, 2013
I booked Unitas Hotel for myself and my mother having read so many excellent customer reviews. Having just spent three nights there, I feel obliged to add to the glowing reviews! I cannot fault this hotel - it was very comfortable, exceptionally clean, convenientally located and the staff were superb. There were some lovely and unexpected special touches, such as refreshment canapes when we returned to the hotel of an evening, and complimentary bottles of water in our room upon arrival. Our twin room was extremely spacious and really felt like a haven to return to on the chilly November evenings. The breakfast spread was incredible - so much choice, and constantly replenished. I will certainly be recommending this hotel to anyone who I hear is thinking of visiting Prague!

A perfect place to stay in PraguePosted Nov 26, 2013
Hotel was chosen for a three day romantic break. From the moment we arrived till leaving I could not fault the hotel. Cleanliness and friendliness plus attention to detail made the stay perfect. We had a great suite on the third floor. Without doubt one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Thank you to all at Unitas!

MUST BE THE BEST HOTEL IN PRAGUEPosted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: The Unitas Hotel is probably the best in Prague. Rooms are large and the breakfasts are to die for. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Location: The hotel is close to the Old Town but very quiet. All the major sights are withing walking distance.
We had four wonderful nights in Prague at the Unitas Hotel. There was so much to see - what a beautiful city. There were so many great restaurants and bars and the people were so friendly. We took a six hour walking tour on the first day which is a good idea as it gave us an overview of the many different sights and a little of the history.

Great Hotel, close to all of Prague's attractionsPosted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: Nice clean and comfortable room, great buffet breakfast, and the wonderful friendly and very helpful staff ....5* service with a smile.... well done!
Cons: WI-fi in the room was a bit hit and miss,
Location: Well located to Old Town, the Jewish Quarter and New town about 20 to 30 min on foot, tram stop 5 min away, no 22 will take you to Prague Castle.
Had a lovely stay in Prague, so much to see and do, enjoyed all the main attractions and even a bit of shopping..... nothing much to complain about but do be warned if your a first time traveler to Prague beware of the food stalls and restaurants in old town square......they are an absolute rip-off!

Warm and friendly with character, close to sightsPosted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: The hotel has been beautifully restored from its origins as a convent to a modern, clean and comfortable place to stay, with excellent staff.
Location: Close to a number of bars and restaurants and a short walk to the Old Town Square or to the main shopping streets
We were originally planning to transfer from the airport by bus and metro, but switched to a pre-booked taxi as we were arriving mid-evening. This made a great start to our three-night break as we were seamlessly whisked to the hotel. The Unitas is a beautiful building and the staff made our arrival very welcoming. Our room was on the second floor and was spacious, clean and we immediately felt very comfortable. The main bedroom was large, with a TV, desk and an armchair to settle into to plan the coming days' experiences. A lobby contained the wardrobe space, fridge/mini-bar and digital safe. The bathroom had a bath with shower and was sparkling clean. Every day the room was cleaned, the bed-covers turned and made to feel welcoming after our days out. Each morning we had an excellent choice of buffet breakfast that was served on the ground floor after an intriguing walk along corridors and through a summer room (with baby grand piano). The choice of food would meet the most demanding of tastes, regardless of nationality, and the staff hovered, smilingly, to make sure nothing ran out, to top up teas or coffees and to clear up. Any help with directions (to the nearest metro / to the visitor sights) etc was cheerfully and politely met from the reception staff. We could not fault anything.

quiet and quaint hotel close to sitesPosted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: spacious rooms, friendly staff, and locality (walking distance) to all attractions. Very welcoming to travelers.
Cons: service to and from airport
Location: hotel is located on a quiet street within walking distance of Charles Bridge and the astronomical clock. Many shops and restaurants close also.
Upon arrival we were greeted with glasses of champagne. THe staff is very helpful and polite. The room was large and clean. It had hair dryer, bar, tv, comfortable bed, large storage area with stocked bar and spacious bathroom. The breakfast bar is delicious and the staff that waited on us very professional and kind. Would stay here again and recommend to all travelers.
