"Great Stay In Prague "
Our stay was a great customer experience. The staff was absolutely great from the time we walked in to the time we checked out. The room, restaurant and internet was great. If we return to Prague we would definitely stay at this hotel, the only thing that I would change is that I would stay there longer.

"Modern hotel 10 minutes walk to the clock tower"
What a pleasant surprise to have found the Maximilian Hotel. It is in a quiet neighborhood, a short 10-minute walk to the clock tower and town square. Everything in the hotel is modern and immaculate, and the staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are large, air conditioned, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast can be from the buffet or omelets or special egg requests can be ordered. Very reasonably priced.

"“Nice Stay - but Short of a 5* Rating”"
Stayed for a long weekend. A pleasant stay, but the hotel falls short of being a 5* Experience and hotel in many areas. Read Below as I try to break it down into all its Pros/Cons: Check in / Concierge: Tedious and a bit arduous. The hotel seems to think that putting Trainees on front of house with NO SUPERVISION is acceptable. This is a bit silly considering the hotel expects cruise tour groups and should know about their busy times. Had to wait 20min for the concierge just for a map! The hotel needs to decide on the service it can provide for the clientele. It seems it cannot cope with the large group tours so far. Rooms: Good size, bathrobe and slippers (in plastic) provided. I didn't like the fact that the TV only had 2 English channels and the were both news! Some bits of the room show some wear and tear. Conclusion: Don't think you are getting the complete 5* experience, but it is definitely a nice hotel to stay at.

"Long Weekend in Prague for European Hockey "
Got to the hotel late on Friday. Reception and bar staff were great and sat in bar for a couple of hours. Breakfast was fresh, clean and plentiful. Had room for three; two adults and daughter. Room spacious and clean. Ate out in Prague so don't know how hotel dinners were. Had a final drink most nights in hotel and bar staff wee always fun and accommodating. Checked out on Monday; no issues and left luggage in secure room until late afternoon. Collected and left for airport. Hotel arranged taxis when we asked. Overall great service.

"Perfect place"
M'y Daughter and I spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel. It was just perfect, big room spotlessly clean. The staff were very accommodating in so many ways. It is very close to the centre (5 minutes walk from the clock) but in a quiet street. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, a huge amount of choice, plus a fresh omelette bar, when I asked for gluten free bread they went to the bakery there and then to buy it for me. The café is lovely and cosy, the walls are covered with portraits of celebrities who stayed there. You can either eat at the café (delicious) or eat at the amazing restaurant (first class service and high quality delicious food). All in all the hotel was a perfect calm retreat from the busy streets of Prague. I would go back anytime.

"Short break in Prague"
For anyone looking for a hotel for a short break in Prague you wont go wrong with this hotel. The overall the experience at Andel`s was excellent, friendly staff with great facilities. The room was clean, with more than adequate facilities, maybe the only thing we could've done with was coffee and tea making facilities but other than that it was good value for money. Breakfasts were excellent, with everything you could want, as was the in house restaurant Oscars, which we used a couple of times, food, value and service all excellent. I have been to Prague twice now, if we go back, which I hope we will then we will definitely be back at Andels. To sum up if your looking for a clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff, with good food then I would seriously consider andels.

    Where to stay in Prague

    Your Guide to Prague Hotels

Prague is one of Europe's most beautiful capitals. Once part of the Kingdom of Bohemia, the city still seems like a place out of a royal fairy tale offering many things to do in Prague. The city of a thousand spires with baroque domes on rooftops - 'mother Prague' has a story to tell, and the surroundings to illustrate. Book your flights to Prague because it’s well worth it to vacation in Prague.

    The golden city

Prague survived the Second World War largely unscathed and emerged from the Cold War with its own Velvet Revolution to become an independent capital. Its history stretches much further back, however, with Celts and Germanic tribes, the Luxembourg dynasty, and the Hapsburgs all taking turns. It is an often forgotten fact that Prague was also the capital of the Holy Roman Empire starting in 1355.

Its assortment of well-preserved treasures from a range of different eras and in a host of different styles is one of the things that makes Prague so remarkable. Charles Bridge spans the Vltava River; the world's oldest ancient castle contains crown jewels; and cobblestone streets lead you through an Old Town maze reminiscent of Franz Kafka.

Kafka, in fact, was a native of Prague. No matter how many other cities he lived in, the famed surrealist writer could never shake the influence of this magical golden city. One visit to this Bohemian wonderland and you won't be able to, either. Stay at Prague resorts, – whether they are 5 star hotels, or one of the other many luxury hotels in Prague - because the city itself has the magic that leaves you tingling.

    Architectural heritage

You could visit Prague for the buildings alone. Styles ranging from Baroque to Gothic to Renaissance all find a home in this city. The Guinness Book of World Records lists Prague Castle as the world's oldest ancient castle and St Vitus Cathedral within it is the oldest gothic cathedral in Central Europe.

Visit the Old Town and the New Town, the Jewish Quarter and the Archbishop's Palace. Hang around Old Town Square to catch the Astronomical Clock strike the hour and wander the Belvedere's grounds. Prague's medieval center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and houses along the Vltava River give Kampa Island the feel of a 'little Venice.' No matter what your preference, you will find Prague hotels in your favorite part of the city. Get cheap hotel deals in Prague, find the best hotels in Prague – every budget is accounted for. You will find the right Prague hotel deals to meet your travel needs.

    Cultural center

Prague offers not only buildings to gaze at, but also culture to experience. Home to the first established university in central Europe, Prague has always been a place for great minds. In addition to Kafka, composer Antonín Dvorák came from here. Mozart wrote 'Don Giovanni' while living in Prague and Einstein taught here for years. Significant chapters in the lives of Rainer Maria Rilke, Milan Kundera, and Miloš Forman were also set here, and the Prague Summer Program has become one of the most important writers' residencies in the world. Make sure you reserve your hotels in Prague in advance for these popular summer events.

Prague is compact enough for you to wander from museum to art exhibit to concert in a day. The illuminated Krizik Fountain hosts classical and contemporary musicals, creating a very special ambiance. There are numerous festivals and performances, and operas are performed at the National Theater. Though the golden city is compact and easily walkable, take advantage of visiting the outskirts, too, by getting a rental car in Prague.

Prague is also said to be Europe's most haunted city. Follow winding alleyways hot on the heels of a ghost trail. One visit to Prague and you'll be haunted - in a good way - for a long time to come.
