Our family was impressed by the elegance of the apartment block and the warm welcome we received from Rossana. First stop after getting settled was St Peter's less than 5 minutes' walk away. Got there an hour before closing time so missed all the crowds. Dined at a great salad bar then strolled back and saw St Peter's beautifully lit up. Rossana used to be a tour guide so helped us plan what to see, how to get there and the best deals... including top designer shops for all-important retail therapy! On our last day had to check out by 12pm but Rossana kindly stowed our cases in her flat 2 floors up until we were ready to head for the airport that evening. We found the cheapest way for the 6 of us to get to the airport was by taxi for just 35 Euros.

The guesthouse has character and is relatively well located (Rome is pretty small and all the major sights are within walking distance). It felt like being in a private apartment rather than typical touristy lodgings as there are only a few rooms and the reception is only manned for a few hours.
The rooms were clean and quirky, it was a pleasure to stay inside. Towels, hot drinks, and a selection of films were available free of charge. Unfortunately there is no kitchen but there is a communal kettle and fridge. I would recommend to friends and stay there again.

We spent four nights at Hotel Farnese while visiting my daughter in her study abroad program. The staff is erratic and very helpful. The location is perfect and one can walk easily to many prime locations in Rome. The rooftop garden for breakfast was delightful.

Great hotel just north of the river in Rome but easy walking distance from some great shopping and all the main sights Rome has to offer. Room a good size, great breakfast, fancy toiletries in the bathroom. Very happy with our choice.

This hotel was a 7 minute walk down hill to the Vatican. Giuseppe spoke English very well which made it easy for Mom and me to check in late and tour the facility. This B&B has 4 rooms with bathrooms, a common area with free water (or free fizzy water :)) and free Italian coffee or Nescafé. Breakfast is included but it is not cooked. It is a normal Italian breakfast with croissants, other breakfast snacks and juice. We had a wonderful view of the Vatican wall with an orange tree draping over the side. There is an area down the street to the left with a couple of local Italian ristorantes. We ate there our first night around 10 pm. The B&B operates like small apartments. You have keys to the gate, the front door, the apartment and your room. VERY secure. We we're able to leave our luggage at the hotel the day we were checking out for several hours while we saw the sites! We had a great time at this hotel and it was well worth the money!! I would absolutely book this hotel again if/when I return to Roma!

Really great hotel in safe location. We had a back room so heard very little noise. Not like being in a big city at all. Room was not over large but adequate for our stay. Lepanto metro close by too. Buses outside. Breakfast first class and staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly return.
