Economy Hotel near Downtown Prescott

Pros: Friendly Staff, Location
Cons: Finish construction (looks like it has been going on for 18+ months!), provide a better breakfast and pillow
This hotel is acceptable, and the way that the person who checked in took the time to explain everything to me, invite me to the continental breakfast, and point out my room was perhaps the most significant reason for feeling comfortable here. If you choose to book this hotel, be sure to bring your own pillow, as the provided pillows are amazingly bad. The bed seemed hard but I slept well ... the room appears to have been mostly remodeled in the recent past and was in good condition, but construction is evident throughout the hotel. There is no pool (and never will be - it's being filled in). The breakfast is a sweet roll and/or toast and coffee and some sort of juice - no fruit or options. I stayed here three nights and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of keeping my room clean and well stocked. Overall, I would stay here again, but next time my spend more to get more.

Nice and quiet

Pros: Convenient, close to town and the price was right.
Cons: The lighting was a little poor for my liking. Perhaps an overhead or brighter lamps?
Location: We went to the casino two blocks away and we were downtown in a matter of minutes to shop and take in the sights.
I had read some negative comments on the web about the noise and other bothersome aspects of the motel but I thought it was great. It was quiet, we got to park right in front of our room, the staff was there to clean the room and provide everything and make the beds while we were gone so that was nice.

Still Undergoing Renovation

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is in the midst of renovation (the pool area is being converted to a patio area according to the staff). The room was clean and smoke free. The hotel was quiet and safe. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were in disappointing condition (bathroom door was damaged and didn't latch closed, an outlet (behind a chair) was missing a wall plate, old CRT TV, ...). Breakfast is just coffee, orange juice, sticky rolls and toast.

OK budget hotel

Cons: A better continental breakfast.
This is a nice older brick motel building. The bed linens need to be upgraded with a more contemporary design. And they need to clean the windows and sweep up the sidewalks and parking lot.

Econo lodge/ Prescott

The maid won't come back if you have your do not disturb sign posted but other than that she was adequate. There was no soap in my room when I checked in but I always have some in my shaving bag so that isn't a deal breaker. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm going back there net year and will probably stay in a different place.

Good location but........

Ice machine not working. Need to get ice from the front desk but they are not open all the time. Breakfast is not served until 7, so if you have to leave early you're out of luck same with getting any ice after 11 or early morning. T.V is small and not a very clear picture. Front office staff very friendly and helpful.
