Delightful Bed and Breakfast

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The whole experience exceeded our expectations.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: We selected this location because it was close to Mystic Seaport Museum and on our way to New Hampshire.
My wife and I stayed for just one night and really enjoyed ourselves. The facilities were very clean and the colonial ambiance was most enjoyable. Our hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast that she served was outstanding. The B & B is surrounded by extensive gardens adding additional interest to this old colonial home. We would have enjoyed spending more time there.

Charming old house.

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: I don't know if this would disturb the other guest, but maybe having a tv in the room.
Location: The location of the house is on a main street so you hear a lot of traffic going by. It is close to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and Mystic Seaport.
This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. We didn't know what to expect so we have nothing to compare it to. We liked the laid back feeling of the owner. Right from the beginning she made us feel welcome. The house itself is over 300 years old but kept up well. Our room was nice and comfortable. The outside has beautiful flowered gardens surrounding the house. Because of the nice weather we were able to have our breakfast outside each morning.

Pros: The history of this Bed and Breakfast was interesting. We enjoyed being served breakfast in the garden, very nice.Very Clean and friendly.
Location: Foxwoods nearby for Shows and the casino. Beaches are a short drive. Countryside beautiful to just take a drive.
A very nice experience. Very layed back atmosphere. Friendly hostess who knows how to make the most delicious breakfast and pastries for you to snack on during the day or evening. Grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cutest gift shop. We will definitely return.

Lovely place to stay

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: I enjoyed the beautifully restored old home, the charming decorations, and the thoughtful comforts.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Location: Very close to Mohegun Sun Resort.
I was very happy with everything. Gail made me comfortable and welcome, and was very kind and accommodating about arrival and departure times. The room was charming. I had a pleasant and relaxing afternoon in the beautiful garden. It was quick and easy to get to the events I was attending at Mohegun Sun Resort. It was a delightful weekend!

Everything was wonderful from the gardens to the room. The innkeeper Gail was so accommodating and gracious. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Very convenient location to all there is to do in the area.

Perfect overnight vacation

Posted Apr 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
My daughter purchased this B&B overnight stay for me & my husband & our overnight stay was delightful! Our host was very accommodating (as we had a show at Foxwoods & got back late), the grounds were beautiful & the house was well-maintained. Our room was large, CLEAN, NO SMELL & our personal bathroom was clean & updated. I can't say enough wonderful things about this B&B! Can't wait to return next time we're in town for a show!

Lovely B & B along a country farm setting.

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: This B & B built in the 1760's. Very rustic full of antiques, well maintained & decorated nicely. Sits on raised land area, has nice views of farms.
Cons: Winding pathway has uneven stone slabs leading up to the house. Perhaps more railing and lighting at night.
Location: Very close to Fox-woods Casino & Pequot Museum. Large Shopping Mall in next town over & movie theater.
Enjoyed our stay, received a warm friendly welcome. and breakfast, with owners fresh eggs & including the home made pumpkin muffins, yummy. Very clean and Excellent service. We plan to return during the summer time, so we can see all the gardens around the house. plus all the beautiful land in the area.
