Excellent choice for Priego! Staff is extremely helpful and the hotel is small but charming. Breakfast is nice and parking was quite convenient. Location is difficult to get to but once there, you’ll appreciate that it’s in the loveliest part of town. Didn’t do the baths...maybe next time.

A disappointment.
Absolutely impossible to navigate on Google maps, we were sent to the main town and circumnavigated the area three times before giving up. By the time we arrived, having parked in the town and walked (around 20 minutes) to the hotel we were told that none of the advertised free parking spaces were available but we could park in a multi storey car park nearby if we did not need access to the car overnight. However, when we went to the car park there were no spaces. The baths were only available at times when we were unable to make use of them, 6pm, 8pm or midday the next day. The kitchen had hob, microwave and fridge plus lots of pans and crockery, but no tea, coffee or sugar nor even salt, pepper or oil that we would have expected for the price that we paid and from our experience with other properties. The buffet breakfast was probably the worst that we had in our three weeks in Spain. I found the beds to be too hard to sleep well. All in all a disappointment and certainly not worth the money. We were really looking forward to this stay and it didn't live up to expectations.

As you probably know, the use of the GPS is quite limited in small twons. We always send a how to get to us map to all our direct bookings to make it easier to our guests. Regarding the parking, as it is shown on the web site where you made your reservation, our parking space is limited so we advice to book it in advance. It is possible to use the Arab Bath the same day that you check in or the next day, even if you check out at 12h, as you will find all the necessary in the changing rooms (showers, lockers, gel, hair dryers...). We are really sorry you didnt get the chance to enjoy the baths. The kitchen in your apartment is fully equipped, however the things you missed there, could be found in the common areas so they are available to all our guests as you could see during breakfast. If at any time you had any questions or needs you could have asked reception as we are available 24 hours. Despite not have a restaurant in the house, we really believe that we provide a good breakfast with quality product, such as fruit, cereals, cured meats, toast with our award wining Extra Virgin Olive Oil, tea, coffee, juice... We hope you can visit us again and enjoy your stay, until then, best wishes from the team at Casa Baños de la Villa. Juan Manuel

Wonderful hotel in a cute Spanish village
We had a great time at this hotel. The village is adorable. They should warn the guest about how narrow and windy and steep the roads are, but it is totally worth it.

Nice hotel in a beautiful town
Casa Banos is a small hotel; perhaps you could call it boutique. The town of Priego de Cordoba is about an hour from Cordoba and the drive to Mezquita was straightforward. The day receptionist was very helpful with directions to Cordoba and also made a very good suggestion for the most scenic route to Granada, via Iznajhar that has an interesting Moorish castle (unfortunately locked) and a nice late that was very swimmable in early October.

Lovely boutique hotel
We were revisiting Priego de Córdoba after 37 years! Our old hotel no longer exists. This one was a delight. Like the other houses round it in the old quarter of the town it is v pretty, white and built round a courtyard. Lots of flowers. It has a beautiful roof terrace + tiny swimming pool. It also has a Turkish bath which guests can just use. There is a all charge for massage. The staff were really nice.

Lovely spot in the historic part of town
Fab by little gaff, not far from a lovely plaza with two nice bar/restaurants. A walk to the plaza for a nice evening meal and sit out drinking till the still of night. Beautiful.

Lovely hotel and hammam in the old town
This hotel is small but has a nice hammam (a session is generally included in the rate), a small roof terrace with plunge pool and nicely decorated rooms. The staff speak English and are very helpful. It is difficult to find by car but the hotel will send you a map and, quite close to the hotel, you need to go down a street marked something like 'solo cocheras' and you will get to the front of the hotel.

great hotel/boutique hotel in terrific barrio of white village, hard to find and parking not great either, but once we decided to leave the car and walk Priego De Cordoba for the 2 days we were there it was fine. Charming spot and décor immaculate. Alvardo was a gem who gave us Cava and candlelight at the terrace with a wonderful view of the church behind the hotel. Quiet neighborhood. Rooms were small but well appointed. We asked for a balcony room and were moved from one on the inside which felt cramped.. We would highly recommend if staying in Priego De Cordoba

Set in heart of historical district.
Casa Banos de la Villa is unique in today's world. Intimate & personal: a hidden gem!! It is located in the old town of Priego which adds to it's uniqueness. The labyrinthine narrow streets which surround the hotel provide a real challenge to the UK driver but it is on worth meeting. The hotel staff are charming & helpful. We stayed in the AROMA room & used the Turkish baths (+ massage) on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice and cosy hotel
The hotel is located in the ancient part of the city in a very narrow street and was a former hamam (kind of turquish bath). We had the largest room booked for our family of 4. Very nice furbished with tasteful furniture. The use for the adults of the bathing facilities is included and was a nice addition.

L’accès à notre établissement est possible avec la voiture, mais dû à que nous nous trouvons dans le centre historique de Priego, entourés par merveilleuses petites ruelles fleuries, il est réalisable seulement pour la Rue Adarve. Nous avons l’habitude de joindre un plan avec les indications dans votre réservation, ou si vous nous téléphonez, nous pouvons vous indiquer le chemin pour arriver ici. En plus, si vous avez reservé le parking, vous pouvez garer votre voiture en face de l’hôtel. À bientôt! Salutations

Schönes Wellnesshotel
Das Hotel hat keinen Parkplatz und es geht sehr eng zu. Das Auto muß man ca. 200 m in der Innenstadt parken. Die nette Kleinstadt liegt oben auf dem Berg an der Klippe. Das Zimmer hatte ein Fenster nach dem Innenhof, aber toll eingerichtet. Für Wellnessfreunde das richtige Hotel. Wir haben leider nicht den Wellnessbereich genutzt. Nette Kleinstadt mit gigantischen Ausblick. Freundliches Personal.

Kleines,familiäres Hotel in toller Lage
Das Hotel liegt im Altstadtviertel von Priego de Cordoba und ist nur ein paar Minuten entfernt von den Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten des Ortes. Auch Restaurants und Bars sind in der Nähe. Die Ruhe, sowie die geringe Anzahl von Zimmern haben diesen Aufenthalt für uns unvergesslich gemacht. Im Preis inklusive ist auch die Benutzung des hoteleigenen Hammams. Zusätzlich haben wir noch eine Massage genossen, die sehr preiswert und gut war. Nach Cordoba fährt man ca. eine Stunde, so dass man das Hotel durchaus als Ausgangspunkt für einen Cordobabesuch nehmen kann.

Eine tolle Stadt, wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, jedoch überbewertet. Keine Parkmöglichkeit, das Frühstück mäßig. Keine Besonderheiten, wenig Auswahl. Haben uns anhand der anderen Bewertungen mehr versprochen.

Hübsches Altstadthotel mit schönem Spa
Das Hotel liegt ziemlich versteckt mitten in der sehenswerten Altstadt. Von äusseren Erscheinungsbild des Hotels hatten wir nur ein kleines verwinkeltes Zimmer erwartet. Tatsächlich bekamen wir ein grosszügiges Studio im obersten Stock mit kleiner Dachterasse. Das und das schöne Spa haben uns super gut gefallen.

Kleinod an der Route der Kalifen
Auf der "Route der Kalifen" verbrachten wir eine Nacht in Priego de Cordoba auf der Durchreise von Granada nach Cordoba. Das Hotel ist mit sehr individuell und wunderschön gestalteten Zimmern ausgestattet. Es liegt auf einer Anhöhe in der maurischen Altstadt mit vielen schmalen (keine Anfahrt mit dem Auto möglich!) blumengeschmückten Gassen. Wenn man keinen Parkplatz auf dem nahegelegenen (ca. 200m) freien Platz findet, muss man sein Auto im Ort im Parkhaus abstellen (12,50€/24h). Es sind dann ca. 800m bergauf zurückzulegen. Das Hotelier-Ehepaar ist sehr nett und man kann kostenlos ein kalt/warm/heißes Bad im Bäderbereich nehmen, wie es schon die Kalifen in längst vergangenen Tagen taten. Die Zimmer und Fenster öffnen sich zu einem gemeinsamen Innenhof, im oberen Geschoß befindet sich eine Dachterrasse. Die Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich schön gestaltet und in exzellentem Zustand.

"romantisches kleines Garni-Hotel in toller Lage"
Eher aus Versehen gebucht, wurden wir dann doch sehr angenehm überrascht. Kleines, persönliches und romantisches Garni-Hotel mit kleinem SPA-Bereich (Dampfsauna, 3 Wirlpools bzw. Becken und Massagebereich) in traumhafter zentraler Lage. Einzig das Frühstück ist doch eher "Fast Food" und vergleichbar mit so manchem Billighotel in deutschen Industriegebieten. Wenn gleich der Ort Priego de Cordoba ca. 100km vom eigentlichen Cordoba entfernt liegt, sollte man diesen Ort, der ebenfalls doch einiges Sehenswertes zu bieten hat besuchen. Ein Tagesstopp mit Übernachtung zwischen Cordoba und Granada ("z.B. auf einer Andalusien-Rundreise") empfielt sich. Denn der Ort liegt in Mitten eines Naturschutzgebietes und Kilometer langen Olivenhainen. Wenn man meint das die Oliven, egal ob grün oder schwarz in Spanien überall toll schmecken, der irrt. Denn hier zwischen Cordoba und Jaem sind diese wirklich am Besten!

Hotel curato nei minimi particolari e la possibilità di un bagno arabo gratis, è attraente ma la mancanza di aereazione sufficiente nelle camere le rende non così confortevoli come il managment vorrebbe far credere. Fatta doccia alle 18. Siamo andati a mangiare. Dopo 3 ore siamo tornati ma la stanza aveva una umidità che ci impediva direspirare bene. Acceso il condizionatore dopo 30 minuti era vivibile. Ci tornerei? Non lo so.

Casa baños de la villa
Todo perfecto excepción de que llevaban un poco de descontrol en los baños con la parte del masaje. El primer día a todos los que estamos allí nos dieron una pulsera de goma con un múmero, esta pulsera se la tenían que haber dado solo a las personas que querían masaje no ha todos el mundo, no preguntaron el tiempo de masaje que queríamos lo hay de 15 y 30 minutos, en mi caso yo lo quería de 30 m y me lo dieron de 15. Por lo demás lo recomendaria.
