“Would not recommend”
At first arrival we were impressed because the hotel has been recently renovated, so on the surface it looked nice. We stayed 3 nights. Each day I saw something that grossed me out. The tub needed a good bleaching! Then the next day the drapes were opened and light reflected handprints on the flat headboard! Yuk! I just kept seeing little things that indicated they have a less than adequate cleaning service. Then the last morning when I went to wash my hair. I picked up the shampoo to find it half used with dirty fingerprints on it. Worst yet is when I picked up the hair dryer...it was sticky and it looked as if it had never been cleaned. It made me wish I'd done an inspection when we first arrived. This was definitely a misleading first impression. THEN, our last night there, a party was going on in their banquet room with loud music...mostly booming. People were yelling and laughing loudly at each other down the hall in front of our room (which was near the lobby). I could not believe no one from the lobby would ask them to quiet down for the consideration of their other guests. By 11:30 p.m. I called the front desk and the young man told me the party would go on until 1 a.m. He offered no other solution. The party was obviously more important than their other guests. The noise level of the party-goers outside our door went on until well after 2 a.m. When I spoke to the front desk about it the next a.m., all I got was a very weak, "I'm sorry."
