Coast Inn the weekend before ChristmasPosted Dec 24, 2012
Pros: Price was good.
Cons: Interior is dated.
Location: Close to movie theatre and Parkwood place but most of the shopping is now in College Heights.
This hotel was once the nicest one in PG. It is still very clean and comfortable but is dated. Check-in was slow and our room needed to be changed for whatever reason later in the night when we came back (but hadn't gone up beforehand) so we were given a $20 voucher for breakfast. I found the waitress in the breakfast room to be rather shy. The food was good but expensive.

Needs to be updatedPosted Nov 12, 2012
Pros: you could order movies from the TV but I think you can from any hotel these days
Cons: uncomfortable beds one pillow each and crappy old bedding few towels definitely needs to be up dated
Location: location is great for down town PG
The coast used to be a great hotel but I think they really need to update their 80s decor and the beds are awfully uncomfortable. You can here every move the neighbours make and walking in halls. It was not a well rested night. I will try somewhere else next time.

Calme et propre, mais sans charme.Posted Aug 29, 2012

Thumbs upPosted Aug 16, 2012
Pros: Very accommodating
Cons: the fitness center could have had more and continental breakfast would have been a great touch
Location: Location is easy to find and accessible
This was a last minute booking but the staff was very friendly and helpful with the area and amenities of the hotel. The room was outfitted nicely and with everything we needed, including safe parking off the street and pool and fitness center so I can do some running in the morning. To be honest I have been in "nicer" hotels but it is small town quaint and I would definitely recommend to others.

Inn of the NorthPosted May 8, 2012
The Inn of the North is overdue for a make-over. The interior decor is quite dated. One of the slowest elevators I've ever encountered in a full service hotel. I don't it was working properly because the light would go off when it reached the 8th floor but the doors wouldn't open. I overheard other guest had the same problem.

One of the best hotels we have stayed inPosted Jul 4, 2007
Very nice hotel. We were made to feel very welcome. Rooms are first class and very friendly staff. Will stay there again next time we are in Prince George.
