Quiet old small town

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: The ferry trip to the island based airport
Cons: No comment
Location: Old small town with little to see and do near our hotel. People come for the fishing. A big attraction as several had large boxes of fish as luggage
We arrived by train late. Took taxi to the hotel. The few restaurants near by were closed. The area is old and uninteresting compared to previous towns on our trip. The hotel is very close to the airport shuttle bus pick up station to go to the airport the next day. That trip took about an hour. The bus goes on a small ferry to get to the island based airport.

Located near center of City

OK; nothing outstanding. Hotel signage is difficult to locate and entrance from parking area very cultered and unsafe looking. Staff was friendly and helpful

Outside of hotel needs some work. Rooms we're clean and beds comfortable. Super friendly front desk staff. Good location in downtown Prince Rupert.

Musty old

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The only update was the lobby. Maybe they should think about updating the furnishings in their rooms
Location: Not much to do around hotel. A few low grade restaurants near by.
Hotel had a musty old rank smell. All furnishings outdated. Had to have a 200 dollar authorization on credit card for pet. ( I think this was a little overboard). Street noises very loud. Would not recommend.

Nothing fancy, but comfortable

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Hotel staff was very friendly and went above and beyond. The room wasn't updated (as I was led to believe it would be) but it was fine for my one night stay. The cost was a little high given the quality of the room, but it was comparable for the location. Bed/bedding was very comfortable. It was quiet, and I enjoyed the view of the harbor. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff very helpful and nice

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband. Room large and comfortable. Nice coffee machine and enough coffee. Bed large and comfortable. A huge flat screen TV with about 100 channels. Breakfast boiled eggs, bread, bagels etc, 2 waffle making machines that were fantastic and cereal. Choice for breakfast very limited and this for us was disappointing. A pleasant stay.
