A bit run downPosted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owner was very nice, but the B&B itself was really run down. Plus the kitchen area was not set up to accommodate extra people. Finally, the sheets in the room were quite uncomfortable making it hard to sleep

Great even in a power outagePosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Jaime was a great hostess. She was able to upgrade my room after a cancellation. The next morning, we sere sitting down for breakfast and the power to the neighborhood went out. She sent out for Tim Horton's food and coffee for breakfast (which she did not have to do. Wecould have had cereal and fruit.) She was a very gracious hostess. The home was very clean and comfortable. The bed was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and big. I would recommend this higly for your next visit to Prince Rupert.

Great place to stayPosted Aug 1, 2013
Pros: Easy to find and close to the ferry.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.
Location: We didn't have time to stay and take in the sights.
Jaime is an excellent host with an eye for detail. She made our stay fabulous. We only wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed all the amenities she had for us. Terrific place. Thanks.

Better than home away from homePosted Jul 23, 2013
Attractive and newly renovated home away from home. Really nice service with breakfast made to order. Quiet neighbourhood. Best place we stayed in the Northwest!

Tall Trees, July 2013 (2 night stay)Posted Jul 19, 2013
This B&B is being managed this year by a young, enthusiastic and helpful university student training to be a professional in the tourism and hospitality industry. The owner seems to have delegated a great deal of work to just one person who is still learning the ropes. Our suite (accessible by a spiral staircase) was clean and comfortable. However, the breakfast dishes were very old and worn. The location is good - quiet, on a ravine where a nice rainforest trail begins, and not far to walk to the Cow Bay area. Overall, needs improvement in terms of the quality/price ratio.

Great choice a few blocks from the center of townPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Tall Trees B&B featured an excellent comfortable room at a reasonable price and the breakfast was very nice as well. I would recommend this property and would stay there again in the future.

Lovely, great location, reasonable pricePosted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: Staff, location.
Cons: Spider web and spider over doorway into our part of the building not appreciated.
Location: Walk via path through woods along beautiful Hays Creek to Cow Bay and downtown area with nice restaurants and shops, museum, etc, about 30 minutes.
Located on a quiet residential street next to a path through forest to Cow Bay tourist shops and restaurants area. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff made every effort to ensure guest comfort and provide information. Full breakfast cooked to order in the morning at time requested by guest.

Tall Trees a good choice in Prince RupertPosted Jul 4, 2013
We enjoyed all aspects of our stay at Tall Trees and would recommend it to anyone seeking good value-for-money accommodation. It is a little bit out of the downtown area of Prince Rupert - a good 10 minutes walk - but is in a quiet suburb with nice views to the rear of the building. Pleasantly decorated and well appointed rooms. Informal atmosphere and a friendly manager.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Comfortable, hostess was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, accommodations were updated and clean. We would definitely stay here again – no negative comments at all.
