Everything was old and creepy. There were large areas of peeling paint in the room, something growing on the frame of one picture hanging on the wall, tiles falling apart, the hair dryer didn't work, stained and smelly towels, the shower diverter was loose in the shower, something red and sticky was on the bathroom floor and mirror, the entire room needed painting—everything was just gross! In addition, the wi-fi wouldn't connect. It was also so noisy that I could hear my neighbor using the bathroom!

The employees were very nice and helpful. The beds were awful. One bed was lopsided My Husband almost fell out of it. The other bed mattress was sunk in, sheet didn’t fit the bed. Again every employee we had contact with was very pleasant and helpful.

A place for one night!
Older hotel, walls need painting, bathrooms need updating. One floor. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Powdered eggs, cold. Yogurt was one day out of date, watery.

Room was nice the breakfast was the same as other hotels. The only issue i had was the key actually open another hotel room beside me that wasn't mines that was a little scary.

This was a half way stop over for our group, and unfortunately this property has been neglected and is pretty out. She needs some TLC for sure. Staff was pleasant and accommodating

Not up to par
Pictures look better than the place. Outside areas and steps and dark halls need work. Old dark carpet and drapes too Bed was wonderful. No elevator. Breakfast was either a waffle or toast and fruit or tiny yogurt. No eggs bacon, bagels, donuts. People were pleasant. Wouldn't go back.Should be less expensive.

I want expecting a palace but this place needs work. If on a trip as a single person absolutely not. The side key door doesn’t work so anyone can come in and out. Had to laugh that photos from 4 days ago shows an open pool and sunny but in reality the pool is covered and it’s gloomy.

I appreciate that we were able to book last minute. However, the door to our building (E) was forced open by duct tape on the door lock. No key card needed. There was then access to our floor without a secure outside door. Our room smelled like it used to be a smoking room although we were in a non-smoking room. The drive up to the hotel was not well lit. We left early before the sun came up and it was hard to see the road.

We had an issue where after checking in, at 12:30am a different family used a key and entered our room while we were in bed. They were given our room and a room key after we had already checked in. This terrified my children and understandably we did not sleep well after that. Overall cleanliness was an issue as well. The room had a broken headboard, water stained ceiling, the phone in the room didn’t work, no extra blankets in the room, stained comforters, etc.

The place was in various stages of disrepair. The doors to enter the hotel from the parking lot did not lock. Our comforter had not been cleaned... Including a giant booger of some kind. Not a whole lot of options in bluefield so maybe there is not reason to try... But it really felt (from a facilities perspective) that this place just wasn't trying.

Not a bad stay- there was a musty smell in the room. The pillows were little sqar ones. But the bed was really comfortable- Get new pillows!!

Hotel wasnt bussy was put on second floor in the part of hotel tgat was being renovated, no heat or air, water was luke warm for shower. The breakfast was very limited and pretty lousy for what we are used to from Choice hotel cgains. We will not stay at this property again. Staff in the morning was very friendly and truely the only bright side of stay.

While being comparatively inexpensive, this property is in dire need of updating. Also, I don’t believe there is an elevator so you need to slug your luggage up stairs.

Hotel could stand a general refurbishing. Breakfast somewhat disappointing, only white bread for the toaster. Hotel is off by itself and had problems finding any descent restaurant for dinne even with GPS.

In the past was a great place to stay. It is so run down not a good place to stay, some of the bagels out for breakfast had mold on them.
