Decent hotel.

Pros: Price.
Cons: Hotel towels were hanging up as if they were clean ... but they were dirty.
Location: Princeton, NJ is a great area to visit.
I thought that the room was clean, until I saw a towel with a big yellow stain.

3rd Party Booking - Read all the print

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The location is right off the highway and walking distance to a major mall, the room was redone. Looked chic and loved the feather-top bed.
Cons: Remove the wood floor from the bathroom. Time will destroy that wood after repeat wettings or provide a floor mat to protect the floors.
Location: Mall, restarants, food court
I used Expedia to book this room and was stated by the Customer Service department that a microwave/refridge combo would be provided for each room. Arrived at the hotel and no, this feature is for a premium, not a standard. So if wish to "upgrade", would be another payment since already prepaid 1-month ahead. Instead was told by the Receptionist at the Hotel, should call the hotel number to make sure what is booked uunder my reservation, not the 3rd party customer service hotline. Paid extra online for this feature, did not have upon arrival so use the ice bucket to refill with ice so could keep medications cold and water bottles. Disappointed is an understatement, but after spending 5-hours in traffic was too tired to argue any further at that point.

Hotel looks okay on the outside but isn't that bad once you are in your room! Staff is kind of rude. There is a lot around you which is great.

you get what you pay for

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: price
Cons: clean the rooms better. more security guards
the room was somewhat clean. the floor was not not very clean. the beds did have fresh clean sheets and blankets. the main issue was the noise. there was an idiot next door that was talking very loudly, obviously drunk, until about 2:00am. i called the main desk about 6 times starting at 11:00pm. they kept saying they would deal with the situation but didn't get around to it until 2:00am. i should have paid a little more to stay at the comfort inn across the street (inside rooms as opposed to outside).

Close to our venue and not too pricey.

It's not a fancy place bit our room was adequately clean. I like the edges of the bathroom wiped clean each day - but other than that and having to go get two additional towels each night (only two were left each day even though we had four in the room), it was what I expected for what we paid.

European sized, quiet motel off the highway

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: pet policy, friendly service, price
Cons: pillows, cleanliness, more signs directing to office
Location: Off Rt 1. Many restaurants just a little ways North on Rt 1.
We chose Red Roof Inn because of its pet policy. You can have one pet only but all rooms allow pets. There was no extra charge. The room was small, similar to European sized rooms with the bed taking up most of it and a small bathroom. Perfectly suitable to spend a night or two and move on. Except for one thing: the pillows. They were the worst. If I had stayed more than one night I would have gone out and bought one at the mall (nearby). The rugs could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. The front office was hard to find when you first drove in the driveway. These few shortcomings were compensated by the price and the service. The two cousins that checked me in that Saturday night were warm, friendly, smart and very helpful. I enjoyed talking with them later when I went for ice. Free coffee in the lobby. Recommend but bring your own pillow.

Room condition

Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: the staff was friendly.
Cons: updated rooms
Location: location was right off a busy highway, dangerous to dart off into traffic coming at 55plus miles per hour.
had to switch rooms since light fixtures, plug ins (which were scarce to begin with) and TV remote did not work. Bathroom was very tiny and there was no place to really open up your suitcase if you had a room with a king bed.
