I have stayed at many Sandman, Sandman Signature and Sutton Place hotels over the years and most are good to excellent experiences. The Sandman Princeton however, is the exception. It is 25 years overdue for a complete renovation.I was in a room facing the highway. Even though the room was a couple hundred feet from the road, the noise was like you were sitting on the road. The single pane, poor sealing windows and the door with daylight around the crack while it is closed are probably to blame. Ear plugs are needed to sleep. The soft chair in the room was either worn out or filthy and I left my socks on walking the carpet. Sandman/Northlands should be embarrassed to have their name on this property in its' current state.
