Very clean and be was very comfortable. Not very walkable to downtown Princeton is the only downside.

No response from emails. My husband is handicapped and we requested a queen bed on the main floor but they did not answer the emailed requests. The front desk staff did call when she got a main floor queen cancelation.

I cannot recommend this hotel. The door to my room did not close fully, TV looked like it was going to fall off the wall. I took a shower and the water would not shut off when I was done. I asked to be moved to a different room but none were available so I had to leave and continue my westward journey to stay in Hope instead.

Hi Carlson, I'm sorry that your stay was not up to your standards. Yes, we were full & we were unable to move you to another room but you did not want anyone to go and try and fix the problem so that is why you were given a full refund for your room. The reason why you could not get the water to shut off in the tub was because you were turning the knob the wrong way.... It shut off just fine when I went down there. Have a great day

Easy check in and easy check out. Bed was super comfy. Tv in the room had no sound but only there for a night so I was fussed.

Worst hotel ever , filthy ,broken tiles in bath. Concrete second floor walkway broken and unsafe , thick ice and snow all round bottom steps ,room full of cigarette smoke all Night from neighbors room . Never again

Renos Sorely Needed!
I have stayed at many Sandman, Sandman Signature and Sutton Place hotels over the years and most are good to excellent experiences. The Sandman Princeton however, is the exception. It is 25 years overdue for a complete renovation.I was in a room facing the highway. Even though the room was a couple hundred feet from the road, the noise was like you were sitting on the road. The single pane, poor sealing windows and the door with daylight around the crack while it is closed are probably to blame. Ear plugs are needed to sleep. The soft chair in the room was either worn out or filthy and I left my socks on walking the carpet. Sandman/Northlands should be embarrassed to have their name on this property in its' current state. I

Very old and needs a lot of attention. Th night we stayed there it was raining and we heard a ding ding all night as the rain hit the tin awning outside our room.

A little run down, showing its age, but probably one of the better options in town. Room was fairly quiet. No internal noise. Could hear trucks outside. Try to get the upper cooler if possible - don’t want to be in the basement. Some mold/mildew in the shower. Sone peeling wallpaper.

It is a very old outdated property. We were put in the back of the building and it felt unsafe back there. We parked our new car in the front so it would be safer and had to walk around to it in the dark making it feel unsafe.

I assumed we had a pet room and learned late at night upon arrival that we did not and there were none available in the hotel. Front desk staff were not helpful or even sympathetic. Humuiliated, had to drive another 90 minutes to next town with a pet room. Beyond disappointed.

Pictures of the room on website don't accurately reflect the real state of the room. Furniture and appliances were battered/worn. Walls and bath area showed unprofessional and poor repairs. Had to tighten toilet seat myself. Will not stay there again.

Unfortunately because of the wild-fires in the area I was not able to go to Princeton. However, I would like to acknowledge that the owner/operator very graciously waived the penalty for late cancellation. This act of kindness certainly made my day a lot better.
