Stay at Duluth Spirit Mountain Inn and Suiites

Posted May 2, 2015
It was a little noisy but that is to be expected when you stay at a hotel with a pool. We liked the fact that we were only a few min. away from places we wanted to go. We would stay there again. Thanks again for a comfortable stay.

Pool rooms should not be all carpet

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Enjoyed the pool room but did not enjoy the fact that it was all carpet. The floor was wet when my daughter and I went back in the room. It did not dry quickly. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to a squishy wet gross floor. There should be tile in the entranceway. Just a suggestion!!

Decent hotel for a short stay

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Reasonably priced
Cons: Gameroom, Pool, and Sauna closed too early (9pm). Friday night should have later hours. Kids were bummed.
Location: In town for a volleyball tournament & it was close to the school.
We arrived in Duluth around 8pm. The Rooms were reasonably priced and clean. In town for a Volleyball Tournament and the girls were bummed about the Pool and Gameroom not being open after 9pm. Seems a bit early to close down the "activity" portion of hotel.

Clean but inconvient

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Clean with pleasant staff.
Cons: Internet service upgrade and better coffee.
If I had known there was no elevator and we had to climb three sets of stairs to get to our room and another set of stairs going down to the pool and yet a down set of stairs to even enter the building to the lobby, I would have cancelled our reservation. My husband has a very hard time with stairs and this was a total surprise to us with all the steps and no elevator. Plus the internet service is deplorable and the coffee isn't all that good. Staff was courteous and the building was clean, it was just the fact of no elevator and facing all the steps that turned our stay to unpleasant.
