What you would expect from a 2-star hotel

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and service
Cons: Air quality in rooms
Location: Located close to restaurants and stores
Don't get me wrong, the hotel and staff were great overall but our room had a permanent musty/stale air smell. No matter how long we ran the AC unit (by the way, it is very loud while you're running it), the smell would not go away. Staff was great, the complimentary breakfast was better than expected.

Pros: Rooms are quiet and very clean. Hotel desk staff were very helpful recommending dining options in the area and answering questions
Cons: The exercise room is very basic and I was disturbed by the lack of spray bottle to clean the equipment after use which is usually essential.
Of all the hotels and motels in the area in this price range, this one has the cleanest facilities and the quietest rooms. Hotel staff are very helpful and congenial and the breakfast is pretty decent. The Irish pub restaurant within walking distance to the hotel is very good for dinner.

Good hotel at a good price

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Good price, proximity to Roger Williams University
Cons: Indoor pool, providing the rooms configured as promised on the confirmation.
Location: The hotel is located a short distance from the I-195 exit, in a the middle of a shopping district.
The Seekonk Hampton Inn was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and within proximity to Roger Williams University. The hotel had an outdoor pool, but we were a little disappointed that there was no indoor pool. Most Hampton Inns I frequent have indoor pools, and in New England, swimming outdoors can be chilly, even during the summer. Also, we had booked 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room. When we arrived, only one of the rooms had two beds. The hotel should have delivered the rooms they promised and confirmed.

Pros: Very nice free breakfast ,hot food included. Rooms were clean , neat and entire facility meticulously maintained.
Cons: There's always something but I can't think of anything.
Location: 10 minute drive to Providence, food and shops nearby.
Certainly a pleasure to stay here for two nights while visiting schools in Rhode Island.

Quiet, Clean & Comfortable

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Everything
Location: There are plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. The location is good for an easy commute into Providence.
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this Hampton Inn. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet and late night cookies quite good! We will definitely stay again when needing a hotel close to Providence, RI. My daughter was attending a Career Exploration program at Johnson & Wales University while I enjoyed the city of Providence.
