Ramada

Posted Jul 7, 2014
We had a deluxe room, so it was very comfortable and had a huge bathroom. Hotel lobby was spacious. Breakfast was not bad, it had most of the basics and the dining room was comfortable. Nearby had gas station, some restaurants and convenient store. We had dinner at Chardonnay's down the street. It was great :)

Not a true Ramada

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Last time we stayed at the Ramada in Seekonk, it was at a differerent location. We were expecting the same place we stayed before. No pool, No flat screen, No easy access to ice (had to go to lobby down to first floor) from 4th floor, TV froze, remote worked intermittently, Shower curtain leaked onto floor, Sheets rough, rugs old & dirty, paint coming off wall, Blankets dirty, moldy smell, no refrigerator

Good for one overnight stay

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Cleanliness of bathrooms
Location: Visit Providence College
Overall great for a simple overnight stay. The bathroom wasn't pristine, which was our least favorite part. The staff was excellent and our room was very big, which was nice. Breakfast was ok, just not a ton of selection.

Only 1 night stay. It was OK

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: It was close to the function we attended.
Cons: Update rooms
We booked this hotel became we were told at time of booking that there was a restaurant and bar. We found out the day of arrival that the restaurant and bar were closed for renovations. The telephone in the room did not work, however, management did take care of this promptly. Coffee was in room, however, we couldn't make any because the glass beaker was not there. Breakfast was not very good. Cold scrambled eggs, etc. Over all this hotel needs some updating in the rooms.

Nothing fancy, but nice overall.

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: It was quiet and clean with friendly staff.
Cons: The breakfast seemed poorly managed - opened late one day, scrambled eggs were rubbery more often than not, there were grounds in the coffee one day.
Overall, it was a good experience. Premises are clean and quite well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was very good one day but mediocre the other 5 days.

I'd stay there again.

Be advised that the old Ramada in Seekonk is now another hotel, and this Ramada was the former Hearthstone. We thought we knew where we were going, but we didn't. It's an older facility with narrow European-like hallways, and the furniture is a little older, but our room was big and comfortable, and bathroom was up-to-date and nice. Also, they served a good complimentary breakfast in a very attractive dining room. No pool, but we didn't have time to swim anyway.

Nice breakfast

Cons: Tried to request a crib but was unsuccessful. Always have a back up plan if traveling with an infant.
Helpful staff during breakfast. Went out of their way to get me a high chair and help me with things.

perfect at this price range

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Room size and cleaniness, staff, breakfast restaurant ..... everything
Location: It took us less than 10 minutes drive from Brown University to the hotel. Not aware much about the things near by.
Me and my husband were at Brown University commencement two days ago. Even though this hotel is at MA instead of RI, it is only less than 10 min. drive. It is really clean and staff there was really nice and helpful.

Hotel close to Providence

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff and the proximity to Providence. Room was clean.
Cons: Towels were scratchy; sink in our room did not drain well; eggs at breakfast were dried out,
We registered for the Hilltop Hotel in January 2014 to stay there in May 2014 to attend my nephew's graduation on Providence. Sometime before we arrived Hilltop Hotel became a Ramada. We did not know this so we had some difficulty locating it, driving past the Ramada sign looking for Hilltop. We arrived before check-in time and they were able to accommodate us which was wonderful since we had to get to a graduation activity.

Cons: Notify guest that the hotel changed it name from Hilltop to Ramada.
Comfortable, nice continental breakfast, convenient to stores, shops, colleges, ocean.
