Perfect downtown location

Personal travel but the entire staff was super. Older building in great shape with old school charm and elegance. Would definitely stay there again.

Great boutique hotel

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Huge rooms and bathrooms, lovely European style hotel.
Cons: Nothing, great as it is.
Location: Close to Brown, RISD, river.
Great boutique hotel. Huge rooms and bathrooms, plenty of windows. Great area to walk around and explore the city. Staff were extremely helpful, from the valets to the reception desk. Overnight car parking is a bit pricey at $29, but get unlimited in and out. We checked out a nearby parking lot and it was $20 and you couldn't self park or go in and out. So the overnight rate seems reasonable.

Great hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Everything was great, except that my 2nd floor room (202) faced a street with a flickering streetlight that I could not completely block out by closing the curtains. I put something over my eyes to stop the strobe effect from keeping me awake. Other than that, I enjoyed the stay.

Great European style hotel with large rooms

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Location, huge room size.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Reasonably priced restaurants and the providence theater.
The rooms are large with multiple windows, spacious bath and wonderful beds. Our room had a great view of the nearby church, whose bells ring between 8am -9pm, adding to the feel of a true European boutique hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Many restaraunt and shops nearby.

Very convenient location

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Staff, rooms, beds.
Location: Short walk to Brown, though there is a steep hill involved. Lots of places to eat.
Nice hotel, pleasant staff, good location. Valet parking is the only affordable/convenient option. Your car will be parked in a lot a block away behind the hotel. Note: cruise by afterward and make sure they lock the doors -- my driver's side door was left unlocked.

This is exactly what we were looking for and were very pleased with our entire stay. Friendly staff, clean (even if a little on the small side) rooms, and super comfy beds!

Nice hotel in a great location!

Stayed in a junior suite and it was extremely nice. Definitely recommended. Very comfortable beds. Only critiques is that there wasn't a mini fridge in the room and when we asked staff about dinner recommendations (we were new to the area) they could not give is any.
