Nice small boutique hotel on a boutique street

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Its in downtown/city center
Cons: Staff's knowledge on expedia elite status and extra amenities
Location: Theres a cute boutique (but overpriced) street right by the hotel
The Hotel Providence is nicely decorated, and rooms are fully equipped and perfectly clean. The location is around 5-10 minutes walk away from the Kennedy Bus Plaza, which is like their main bus station. We had a great stay.

Real gem in the center of old Providence

Posted May 21, 2015
Hotel Providence is a quiet and cozy hotel just steps away from the great cafes and restaurants of old Providence. There's a fine fitness center, fabulous restaurant, and extremely friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel for the price in a good location. Nice sized rooms and a charming old building. The rooms are modern while the property has retained it's old charm.

Very friendly staff- went out of their way to greet & provide assistance. Switching rooms from 1 king to 2 fulls was no problem whatsoever.

Personal travel but the entire staff was super. Older building in great shape with old school charm and elegance. Would definitely stay there again.

Great boutique hotel

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Huge rooms and bathrooms, lovely European style hotel.
Cons: Nothing, great as it is.
Location: Close to Brown, RISD, river.
Great boutique hotel. Huge rooms and bathrooms, plenty of windows. Great area to walk around and explore the city. Staff were extremely helpful, from the valets to the reception desk. Overnight car parking is a bit pricey at $29, but get unlimited in and out. We checked out a nearby parking lot and it was $20 and you couldn't self park or go in and out. So the overnight rate seems reasonable.

Great hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Everything was great, except that my 2nd floor room (202) faced a street with a flickering streetlight that I could not completely block out by closing the curtains. I put something over my eyes to stop the strobe effect from keeping me awake. Other than that, I enjoyed the stay.

Great European style hotel with large rooms

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Location, huge room size.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Reasonably priced restaurants and the providence theater.
The rooms are large with multiple windows, spacious bath and wonderful beds. Our room had a great view of the nearby church, whose bells ring between 8am -9pm, adding to the feel of a true European boutique hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Many restaraunt and shops nearby.
