GREAT HONEYMOONPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: The property was Beautiful, its away from the main drag of beachfront hotels making it more peaceful and exclusive.
Cons: They need to improve upon the attentiveness of waitstaff on the beach/poolside. They were extremely accommodating, but drinks were empty for to long
Location: This location is meant for RELAXATION, not much nightlife. We were up early everyday taking advantage of the gorgeous beaches and daytime activities.
The Gansevoort was AMAZING. The staff was terrific, helpful and extremely hospitable. I am in the service industry so I am a harsh critic.

outstanding property and personnel. the beach is perfect and away from the congestion. the service was very attentive, especially Job, one of the guys on the beach along with all the rest I can't say enough good things about our stay. we ate at supposedly some of the best restaurants in the area and we found their restaurant, Stelle, to be better than the rest.

Awesome beach escapePosted Feb 24, 2013
Pros: A+ hotel in an A+ beach destination.
Cons: Nothing. It's superb.
Location: Most beautiful beach in the Caribbean.
This hotel is sublime. Worth every penny. Friendly staff, on top of everything, stunning hotel, free wifi everywhere (even on the beach!) excellent free breakfast...loved everything.

Very relaxed settingPosted Feb 15, 2013
Pros: The beach
Cons: Only one restaurant. Very few ocean front hotel room available.
Location: Too far from the other resorts, restaurants and shopping.
Rooms are large and comfortable with a generous balcony. Small resort, however, the beach was one of the larger on the strip and you are very close to Bight Reed for great snorkeling. The resort is at the end of the resort strip, so you must either rent a car or take a taxi ($14.00 per trip no matter where are you going!) if you want to leave the resort. There is only one restaurant at the resort, food was very good. Breakfast is very good and plenty of options. They have "luxury" chairs by the pool or beach - however you are charged $150 or $75. With that you get a bottle of wine, fruit plate and two bottles of water. Regular pool and chairs with umbrellas are very comfortable and free!

Overall great hotelPosted Feb 12, 2013
Pros: Hotel grounds
Cons: Having to leave
Location: Perfect ocean views
Amazing time there. Have been there twice and would go again. Beautiful scenery, very attentive and well mannered staff. I live in NYC and expect the best which can be hard to find sometimes in the Caribbean. Not so with the Gansevoort. It's reliably perfect every time.

Absolutely PerfectPosted Nov 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
My husband and I enjoyed every aspect and feature of this wonderful hotel. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us during our entire stay and we can't wait to return. The food, environment, water, people and service all get excellent ratings.
