Nice hotel near Evian

The hotel's restaurant is not open on Sunday which I didn't notice before I booked the room, or it was not disclosed. We had to go somewhere else which was fine except out of the way. The staff speaks English but did not tell us where their pool was and I didn't remember they had one until it was too late to swim the only day we were there.

Comfortable , good location on beach although we didn't go swimming. Would stay there again. Could benefit from a fan or air conditioning.

Pros: The food in the adjoining restaurant was fabulous,
Hotel rooms are very basic but satisfactory. Hotel pool is beautiful and seating is plentiful and modern. Adjoining restaurant is magnificent and we ate here alot!! The desserts in particular were just fabulous - in fact we couldn't fault any of the food we ordered. Nearby you can hire a pedalo for 15euro for an hour to explore the lake which is a lovely relaxing thing to do. I'm not sure how easy it would be to get here using public transport links but we drove from Geneva in our hired car with relative ease. We didn't get breakfast which was automatically added onto the bill but the lady at the reception was more than accommodating in rectifying the mistake.

Very nice location and restaurant just near lake. Will surely return. Rooms nothing special, but OK and quite big. Nice surrounding with park. Some personnel should change their sweating dress sooner ;-)
