Pros: read the above
Cons: read the above
Location: many Baroque churches. The Hotel Purificadoro where we wish we had stayed.
no chest of drawers, no drawers anywhere, no desk. The little table space available nearly filled with for sale stuff. Only one chair: one of those circular uncomfortable ones. The mini fridge was not there during our seven nights of living out of a suitcase. bed side lights were with stained glass so was impossible to read in bed. all this for a so-booked "Superior" room. Hotel was on the surface charming, but basically eccentric stylizing trumping comfort. The redeeming feature of our quiet room "Miroslava" was the view from the adjacent top-of-building party (none while we were there) terrace. An awful two nights of near-by saxophone practice after 11PM.

Great stay at El Sueno!Posted Oct 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Not only was it a beautiful hotel, the service was phenomenal. Even in Puebla, all of the staff spoke English and the customer service was impeccable. I loved that each room was themed after a famous actress or star, it made me feel like I was that much closer to Mexican culture and heritage. I had breakfast at the hotel the next morning and that was delicious. Over 5/5!

Will never choose this one if ever travel to PueblPosted Oct 1, 2014
The design of the rooms is considered to be modern... but in fact rooms are terribly uncomfortable!! Rooms are dirty. If you attempt to take a shower, you room will be definitely drown in water. Staff is not attentive at all

Pros: EL AMBIENTE COLONIAL
Cons: EN LA CAPACITACION DEL PERSONAL
EL HOTEL ANUNCIA QUE ACEPTAN MASCOTAS. CUANDO LLEGO ME INFORMAN QUE SOLO CUANTAN CON 2 HABITACIONES PARA ELLO Y QUE LA QUE RESERVE NO ES UNA DE ELLAS. QUE NO PUEDEN HOSPEDAR A MI PERRITA "POR CUESTIONES DE HIGIENE". AL VERME MOLESTA ME ASIGNAN OTRA Y LUEGO COMENTA QUE MI MADRE NO VA A PODER SUBIR POR LAS ESCALERAS. EL DIA DE MI SALIDA MI HIJA QUIERE ENTREGAR LA HABITACION Y NO SE LE PERMITE. LE PREGUNTAN "SI TIENE ALGUNA FORMA DE PAGAR" EL ADEUDO EXTRA, MISMO QUE SE OCACIONA PORQUE NO RESPETARON LA RESERVA. EL TRATO DE LA GENTE DE RECEPSION FUE PESIMO. LO QUE SALVO EL DIA FUE EL RESTO DEL PERSONAL.EL HOTEL ESTA BIEN. NO COMO LO ESPERABAMOS. RESERVE UN CUARTO CON CAMAS QUEEN Y SE ME ASIGNO UNO CON CAMAS MATRIMONIALES. LA TELE ESTA COLOCADA AL LADO DE LAS CAMAS EN LUGAR DE AL FRENTE. POR ELLO EL CONTROL NO FUNCIONA BIEN. PERO ESO ES LO DE MENOS LO VERDADERAMENTE INDIGNANTE FUE ELH ECHO DE NO QUERER ACEPTAR A MI MASCOTA CUANDO ANUNCIAN QUE SI.

Colonial meets comfortPosted Aug 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
AAA+++ Colonial meets comfort with awesome location. This place is a colonial expression of art; each room is awesome and different. The location is only 2 blocks from city center. The service and staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is worth every penny.

Nice, but get a quiet room.Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Great staff, great ambiance.
Location: Good location. Only a few blocks from the zocalo.
Lovely place, lovely staff. But, be sure to get a quiet room. For two nights we had a musician just outside our door serenading a "private dinner" across from our room who started at 9:30 pm. Plus one night there were loud voices coming from the bar until after 11:30 pm. Finally they moved us to another room.
