Pros: Great location. Great rooms.
Location: Literally blocks from the Zocalo. Tonnes of great restaurants nearby.
Modern. Excellent facilities. Awesome location. Even more awesome, friendly and helpful Front Desk and Room Service staff.

Great location, nothing else to get excited aboutPosted Feb 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel is in a great location, only about 3 blocks from the Zocalo. Breakfast was very nice and we got a deal so that it was included, although we had to "prove" this by showing the printout of the confirmation. the downsides of this hotel- rooftop pool was more like a large bathtub and not very well maintained, and terrible construction noise starting at 11pm and ending at 2AM. Obviously this is not the hotel's fault, but we definitely didn't sleep well. Overall, good quality and location, good value if you get free breakfast, but nothing amazing.

Good basic hotelPosted Feb 24, 2014
I felt like I was staying in a Holiday Inn. Now nothing bad about Holiday Inn, but this hotel had very little character and no Mexican character at all. It seems more like a "business hotel" to cater to business travelers. Having said that, it was a very good hotel and I would stay again. It was a less than 5 minute (two long blocks) to the main square (zocalo) but away from all the noise. My room was simple, but contemporary, faced the main street and noise was not a problem at all. The room was very clean and hotel front desk staff spoke good enough English. Breakfast was extremely over-priced so I did not eat there. Across the street from the hotel is a small breakfast place where you could get a good simple breakfast for about 50 pesos. For the right price I'd stay here again because of location and cleanliness.

Nice hotel near the Zocalo but away from the noisePosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Location, amenities, rooms, lack of noise, buffet breakfast
Cons: The faucets at the bathroom sink are really high pressure and spray everywhere when you wash your hands (strange little picky thing, I know)
Location: The hotel is only a few blocks from the Zocalo and many museums and churches. There are some really nice restaurants nearby as well!
This was a nice hotel, modern and comfortable, close enough to the center to be able to walk to all the sites (we didn't take a taxi once), but far enough away from the Zocalo and the bar scene to not be too noisy. The roof pool was an excellent addition and there was also a nice gym (although we didn't use it). The breakfast buffet is worth it if you can get it included in the room rate. Overall, great experience and friendly staff, we would stay again. One note-- we booked on expedia and when we arrived the reservation had come through incorrectly (room with two beds instead of one and without breakfast included). The attendant quickly took care of the problem, upgraded us to a Jr. Suite and included the breakfast without so much as having to consult with a manager. Very much appreciated.

Great locationPosted Feb 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff was very helpful. The location to the Zocalo was excellent. As is with all historical cities the building is old but well maintained. We would stay there again. If you go a must is the tours with En Via tours. It will give you an experience to meet and see how women support their families in these small villages.

Great location - poor servicePosted Jan 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The air conditioning did not work the entire week we stayed. We notified the hotel staff in the evening and they said it would be fixed the next morning but never was. Also the room card failed three times, always after a long day. I would have to run down to reception each time and leave my family waiting for me outside the room. I've never had this problem at another hotel. I also requested wash cloths (small face towels) and the front desk said they would send them but never did. I repeated the request three times and each time the front desk insisted they had the wash cloths and would send immediately to the room but never did. I will not stay at NH Hotels again.

Very restful and refreshing. Close to all that we wanted to see and do in Puebla. Thanks!

Very well located, with all services, the NH Puebla was worth it. The breakfast buffet and the restaurant services were very good and the staff is friendly.

Disspointing - Noisy & Smelly -DowngradePosted Jan 7, 2014
Pros: location very good premium rooms are nice
Cons: notify guests when they have a major event in the ballroom to avoid late night moves
We stayed at NH Puebla on New Years Eve. We booked a premium room at a premium price. Our room was just below the Ball Room where the Hotel hosted their New Years Eve Party. 400 people dancing above our room until 4:30 am did not help our stay ... . We changed into a room on a lower floor of lower quality and just above the kitchen. very smelly at 6:00 am onwards ... Breakfast was on the house though ...
