Great place to stay

Location: Check out Pizza Madness!! Totally worth your time!!
Stayed here with the wife and kids during our trip to Canon City. Very nice facility, clean rooms, exercise facility, indoor pool / hot tub, **hot breakfast**. Front desk folks were very accommodating and could provide directions to the local hot spots.

Hotel not far from Royal Gorge

I don't recommend this hotel. I would find another place to stay if I were you. Room smells awful like something has been spilled in carpet and spoiled. I wanted a new room but my family was just here one night and we were going to the royal gorge so we wouldn't be in there much. I'm glad I had spray for the room to help bare the smell. The pillows are lumpy and small so bring your own if you want comfy pillows. Bed was comfy and breakfast decent. I had a very difficult time getting my money back from this hotel due to reservation change. I had prepaid my room and booked through Expedia. I called Expedia to change my dates and they confirmed with hotel I could do that and they would issue me a refund however when it never came through on my statement I called Expedia back and they contacted hotel who had "denied" my return! What??? I was like no they said I would get a refund and besides that we only stayed there maybe 12 hours and I wasn't paying for a night I didn't stay when they said I could change! Anyway thank goodness Expedia was able to refund my money but only after 5 days of calling them but on day 5 I was transferred to upper support who understood the issue and was able to refund my money. Thank you Expedia!! But the hotel refused to refund my money!! That is wrong! I would never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone else. Go to the Hampton inn across the street. It looks nicer anyway.

Nice hotel - noisey neighbors

The hotel was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Our problem occurred when the people in the room above us allowed their children to run and jump which made a lot of noise. Isaac talked to them but that didn't help. At least he tried to help us.

Do not go through Expedia to book room.

Very disappointed that I had to take a room that I did not reserve and for almost twice the price. I was told it was the only one available, and yet the parking lot only had a few cars in it. Including a couple of vans with church kids. Still did not add up. I was had - you got me. Never again

It was great and easy to find. Would stay again. The staff at check in did not know a lot about the computer system took a little longer than normal. But overall it was great.

VERY VERY nice. Nicest one in the entire town!

Pros: location, services, cleanliness, close to grocery stores, Walmart, drug stores, gas stations.
Cons: need a change machine and more washers and dryers. 1 of each isn't enough for the entire building.
Location: Royal Gorge, Royal Gorge train, white water rafting (we couldn't do because the floods made the river unsafe)
we had a wonderful stay. my grand daughter didn't want to leave and when we did she REFUSED to stay at anything less than the quality we had here. will DEF come back and stay at this place. MOST recommended
