I was treated like a queen. I ended up staying 4 nights while husband in hospital and I was greeted by name every time. They made sure I had everything I needed. Friendly and caring

Dated but comfy
Hotel is dated and the beds were harder than we preferred, but David at the desk was wonderful. We were just passing through for one night, but definitely served our purpose.

Staff was outstanding and helpful. Dated hotel that could use upgrades, but a quiet and comfortable stay overall. Nice indoor pool area with hot tub.

Stay here if at all possible!!!
This hotel was an older building but was exceptional!!!! Extremely clean! The staff- mainly David was extremely helpful and extremely professional! He was very friendly, very polite and very accommodating!!! The place was very clean and overall very nice! The pool was warm and we had a great time! I will definitly be staying here everyone i go to Canon city Co!!! Out of 1-10 i give it an 11!!!

The owners are super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and all appliances worked ( fridge, microwave and air conditioner). This hotel doesn’t have a breakfast in the mornin, but just across the parking lot is a Burger King

This is an older property. But staff was amazing!!! We stay at lots of hotels and they were hands down the best! Honestly when we arrived i was not thrilles because hotel is much more dated than I am use to but service was above standards.

Hot water actually took about 10 minutes to reach the room. No in room coffee and the coffee in the pot in the lobby was weak. Room stayed overly hot, and could only be cooled with the AC but that's super loud, so you turn it off due to the noise, then awake sweating - you get the idea. Not recommended for the price.

Comfortable but nothing special.
David at the front counter was very friendly, the beds were comfortable, and everything seemed clean. The place is somewhat rundown though, there was no coffee in the room and only bad coffee available in the lobby. The ice machine was also broken and although they did have a cooler with ice available, the cleanliness of that is questionable. Perfectly adequate for a short stay though.

Quite possible the nastiest carpeting ever
We aren’t very picky when it comes to hotel stays. It just needs to be comfortable, relatively quiet and clean. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels over the last twenty years and this was quite possibly the worst carpeting I’ve ever seen. It really doesn’t take much to keep it clean. Buy a carpet cleaner and do it maybe once a month or so. This looked like it had never been done since the 80’s. Completely ruins anything else that is good about the room.

BED BUG Alert
BED Bug Alert!!! Wife received 7 welts after 2 hours in bed. No refund, we left so fast,didn't ask, t be truthful, Had to stay in another at 179 Bucks. PS Left a dead bed bug on their desk for proof. for the lady to to wintess, Of course she was dismayed, they are hard to get rid of. I think the previous guess may have left it there. Lot of seeding characters around, but a nice ones as well.(I killed it, it was bloodless that is why I say it lingering, it want some blood, but too slow.

Dirty stained carpet Somebody’s snot on bathroom wall. Hair found on floor and in the shower. Toilet ran off and on the entire time. Couldn’t totally turn off the shower and it was difficult to turn on the sink. Hot tub was way to hot and so much chemicals my eyes burned. Couldn’t stay in it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly. I recently had surgery and he carried my bags in for me because I was unable to lift more than 5lbs. The rates the rest of the experience 'ok' because it wasn't the worst hotel experience and it wasn't the best. It was just a budget friendly hotel. No frills place. For a budget hotel, I expect outdated decor and very few amentities. The ice machine was broken, so that was a big bummer. I needed ice for my surgical site and I had to go to the Conoco across the street. The room was relatively clean. I do think they could benefit from a routine deep cleaning service if they do not plan on upgrading their carpeting and/ or fixtures. The shower drain did not drain properly, which I personally don't like because I feel like I'm standing in my own filth. It did appear to be more of a long term room rental type place. No judgment there, just an observation. It looked like there were some people who might call it home. Lots of smoking people hanging out in the parking lot. One gentleman was sitting in his car blasting his music REALLY loud. Again, no judgment. These are the things that tend to invite a certain type of crowd and deters others. Overall, my experience was okay. I'd stay here again if I were traveling alone, not planning on spending much time in my room, and really only needing a place to lay my head at night. That being said, I am also the type of traveler who would prefer to camp versus stay in a hotel.

The family running this Inn are so attentive and always wanting to make your stay enjoyable. I’ve never had customer service in a hotel like this family does. We will stay here again if in the area.
