The room was clean but really out dated.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The price.
Cons: Cleaning and smell of the rooms.
Location: The Royal Gorge is the reason we went there.
We tried to call ahead to make sure we could check in early but no one answered the phone. Fortunately when we got there it wasn't an issue. The bed and bathroom were clean but the carpet was dirty and smelly. We bought air freshener to help. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. I guess for the price it was OK.

Good location for white water raftingPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Good location for whitewater rafting at Royal Gorge.
Cons: Breakfast could be better
Location: Whitewater rafting. Visiting royal gorge and bridge (currently closed, after being burnt in a forest fire) Prison museum
Nice & small. Found some food crumbs and hair on our bed but the night clerk was very apologetic and changed the bed sheets for us. The only hotel I have stayed in, during my 30 years of travel, which has a 26 character wifi password. Interesting.

Okay to stayPosted May 28, 2013
Pros: Receptionist very friendly
Cons: Price compared to other properties same but with no amenities
Location: Easy to find and on the main road
If a small family is looking for something with no other amenities such as continental breakfast, swimming pool, etc. this would be an okay place to stay. Burger King is within 50 feet for breakfast, the rest of amenities that is required is within walking distance. For the price, I feel that the price is high for what is offered compared to other properties in the area which offer continental breakfast, swimming pool, fitness room, wifi, etc. for $10-$15 more. Receptionist was very friendly upon arrival. Never saw anyone after check in. Will stay again if it becomes the only propety available.

Good location.Posted Aug 21, 2012
Nice, friendly staff. Swimming pool was really cold and hot tub was luke warm at best. That was a bummer because that was why we picked this hotel: other than that all else was fine.

Dirt underwear in the room!! Gross!Posted Jun 11, 2012
There were dirty underwear on the floor of our room! When I told the front desk she didn't seem concerned or apologize! She offered to put us in a different room but who knows what other rooms weren't cleaned. We got our money back and found somewhere else to stay. Very dissapointing!

Royal Gorge InnPosted Jun 9, 2012
Pros: Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Very neat & clean.
Cons: Would have been nice to have some fresh fruit, cereal, milk, toast or boiled eggs with continental breakfast.
Location: Access road prevented easy access or egress.
Really nice place to stay for the cost. Geographical location made it easy to travel to varied sightseeing destination.

Great stay...great price!Posted Apr 2, 2012
The only issue was some noise from a room across the way...not the management's fault.
