"Great place to find calm in the centre of Madrid"
Madrid is a great city. It's a busy, noisy, exciting, vibrant place to hang out for a few days. The ME Hotel is your moment of calm in the centre of all of this. The hotel staff are lovely and helpful. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated to a very high standard. Our room didn't have any decent views. instead overlooking a tiny courtyard. This was actually a blessing in disguise. Our room stayed cool throughout the day and was a peaceful haven from the noisy streets around us. If I had one area for improvement - and it's really only a small one - I'd ask for tea / coffee making facilities in the hotel room. There was a "sex kit" and a wide selection of sweets - but a good cup of tea will always win-out at the end of a long journey.

Hotel Urban was a nice way to finish our Spain trip, Staff where helpful and gave information on anything we requested. It location is perfectly located next to the main shopping and eating districts of Madrid and nothing was to far to walk for us. And the restaraunt at the hotel is up there for Fine dining food and the Staff where awesome. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice modern hotel to stay in.

Really good location, the room wa like a very upscale boutique hotel. The room was large even by North american standands. The bathroom was done very well and modern yet exposing some of the underlying stone work testifyng to th age of the hostoric building.

It is in the middle of every things. Not expensive- spend your money to eat all those good food in the area and drink (five 8 oz beer in the ice bucket for 3 Euros) The hostel is clean and the rooms are large enough. Bathroom is very clean and shower is great. Other hotels you pay for the lobby. Very friendly staff even their English is not perfect, they will help you some how. It was better than 3-star hotel in the area that I stayed before.

Not bad. Good location. Right near the plaza santa anna. Clean. Noisy street but had no issues sleeping. Third level of building with no lift. Staff were fine no issues. Enjoyed our stay for the price. Not a luxury place but got the job done for two nights.

Not the fanciest of hotels but it is highly comfortable, with a great en-suite bathroom comfortable bed and free wi-fi, what more do you need from a room ?
But this hotel to me is not about the room its about the location , easy to get there from the airport (two simple line changes on the metro) and once you get there everything is on your doorstep , bars, pubs, clubs, fast-food, resteraunts, cafes, museums are just down the street , historical buildings minutes away and a big square were everything seems to be happening .
up the road from the square are loads of shops too , if you want to go further away you have the metro a two minute walk away from hotel (i went to the real madrid stadium tour took about 10 minutes on metro)
Rubin on reception was very friendly and helpfull I dont know if he is the manager or not but he seemed to be always working ,he should take a holiday himself!
