You are right about the ocean, however there are some moments during the day or some months that the ocean is calm, but it can change from one moment to another. That’s why that if the flag is red on the beach, we recommend our guests not to swim. Escondido lives up to its name, being on a virgin beach on the coast of the state of Oaxaca. A short distance from Puerto Escondido, the Mexican mecca of surfing, this refuge of peace and quiet offers an escape from the routine and stress of everyday life, leaving no other option than to enjoy. We are far away from town, so we normally recommend our guest to rent a car if you will be traveling to Puerto Escondido or we can have a taxi booked for you. Most of our guest once they enter Escondido does not leave at all during their stay with us. We do not count with transportation from the main entrance since all of our guest arrive in their own transportation or taxis from the airport. We are very organized and try to do our best to keep our guest happy. Regarding prices they are set to be the best service and also fulfill our guest needs, most activities include transportation, equipment and personal tour guides, so they do not miss out on the attractions Escondido has to offer. Escondido is well hidden as it´s purpose is for our guest to get away from all and relax to the last minute, that is why phone reception is not very well in this area. I am glad you drove from Oaxaca City although it´s a seven hour drive but you had the chance to see another side of the state of Oaxaca, like the forest vegetation.
