“Forget the rest- stay here”
My wife and I and a friend from Chile went to Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas area for a few days. We booked this hotel -site unseen and unknown by our friend who knows the area very well. the experience was terrific- I believe this is the hotel of choice for executives supporting the Salmon Industry- the view of the Volcanos was right across the lake- don't think twice about it - I'd go back again. “Great Hotel with wonderful views”
Was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Great decor, wonderful service by all personnel we came in touch with. Wonder views of the area. Has a great remises/taxi service available and they were outstanding and couldn't have asked for better. Relatively close to center of town, approx 1/3 mile. Hotel is situated on a small knoll and the views of the lake and the neighboring volcanos are outstanding. This hotel is just enough out of downtown that it is the greatest place to site back, relax and enjoy the incredible views.
“Best in Puerto Varas”
If you're trying to relax, sleep and eat great food... This is the best hotel in all Puerto Varas! Some of the best things are: • Great food and amazing bar! You gotta try the Mojitos • Nice, clean and really comfortable rooms • Great view • Great staff and special activities throughout the week to keep you entertained • Live music from monday to friday • Really great Spa!
“The Best in Puerto Varas”
Our recent stay at the Cumbres was excellent. The staff took very good care of us. I recommend the spa for a massage, the restaurant for their breakfast buffet, their dining room for dinner and their common room for relaxation.
“great views!”
This is a very conveniently located hotel. Most of the rooms seemed to have a full view of the lake and mountains. The dining room was very nice and the supper menu was excellent. After 3 weeks in Chile, we were delighted to see some innovative menu items! I recommend a NON-luxury room, which allows for the opening of windows. Our "luxury" room had A/C, but it didn't seem to work, so the room was stuffy. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The gift shop is excellent and sells quality items made by indigenous women. This is an expensive hotel by Chilean standards, but the quality makes it worth the extra expense.
“A very nice place to stay”
Could have a better service. We were given a voucher for a free happy hour but the choices were just one or two.
