Nice hotel and with good facilities. About 5 minute walk to the bus station and 10 minutes to center of town

Nice people run the place. It is a few blocks away from the town center so it's a relatively cheap hotel for a over-priced tourist town. This is the no-frills option.

A solid Puerto Natales hotelPosted Mar 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed one night at Alcazar on the way to Torres del Paine national park. The owner was very friendly and helped us book bus tickets to the park the next day and answered a few logistical questions we had about getting around in the patagonia region. The location was OK. It took about 5-10min to walk to the center of Puerto Natales. The rooms were small, but they were fine for our purposes. The area seemed safe and the hotel was clean. Overall, this is a good place to stay for a night.

Hotel AlcazarPosted Feb 3, 2012
We had a late arrival and they waited up to check us in. They arranged a tour for the next morning and had lunch ready for us to take. The daughter who worked the desk some of the time had better grasp of english and made it easier to communicate with. It seems to be a family run hotel and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room was a bit small but we had a view of the city and the lake.

So so experiencePosted Jan 10, 2012
Pros: Clean room was confortable
Cons: I couldn't change my staying plan. It was not frexible to change schedule so that the hotel doesn't seem to be the best option for backpackers.
Location: It locates a little far from the town.
Room was confortable but located a little far from the town.
