Don't Stay Here Unless You're DesperatePosted May 15, 2013
Pros: The location is OK.
Cons: Everything, especially the noise.
Location: It is in a good location.
This is a 2 star hotel at best. I made a big mistake booking this hotel. The reviews are misleading. All aspects of the facility and accommodations are basic at best. This is a step above a hostel, but only one step above. And there is no acoustic isolation. You can practically hear the people in the next room pass gas. You hear EVERYTHING from all other guests including walking, talking, opening closet doors, taking a shower, flushing the toilet. I woke up one morning at 5:30AM and could not go back to sleep due to the person in the neighboring room snoring, and I had in ear plugs and a pillow over my head. Don't stay here unless you have no other choice.

Great place to base out of for Torres del PainePosted Dec 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed staying here while in Peurto Natales. Convenient to downtown and buses to the park. Allow you to leave a bag while trekking. Great breakfast! And wonderful staff! While on our first leg of the circuit to Seron, I realized that I had left my diamond earrings on the night stand. And I thought oh well... someone has a nice pair of earrings. When we made it back to Natales, I asked at the front desk if anyone had seen them and within a couple hours they were back in my hand. Very impressed!

As an American who travels extensively, I am compelled to ALWAYS remind folks that U.S. standards are different. Not always better, just different. The hotel is old. The building is old. Appreciate that about it. The front desk service was wonderful and the breakfast was very good. Typical for Chile. I would stay again
A good bargainPosted Sep 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
The staff was friendly but limited in their knowledge of English. The hotel was a much better deal than very nearby pricy hotels. It's a few hundred feet from the waterfront and also close to downtown. They serve a pretty good free breakfast and will cook your eggs to order.
