“Don't Believe The Internet Presentation”
we had to ask where to find the reception desk. The reception clerks were quite cordial, and provided a single sheet of instructions/listing of hotel services, meal times, etc. Our room was dreadful, tiny, one double? bed, and no view. We requested a different room, and were shown a larger room with only high, basement style windows, and a third bed, obviously for a larger family, not cleaned yet. Finally we accepted a room with two beds, normal windows, and a small ground floor balcony - large enough for one patio chair, if we had one. Food was strictly Buffet style, redundant in 3 days, and usually cool. They provided access to one Mexican and one Thai restaurant, but only 2 nights a week each. Thrick was, you had to sign in between 9 AM and 1 PM, and usually maxed out immediately. Never made the list. Cleanileness - not bad, but we spilled a drink by the night stand the first night and it was still there when we left. The entertainment was lively, but? For example, the best eveniong we participated they had BINGO. To be fair, it rained most days and we did not spend time at the beach. Both pools were very nice. The Good - Each meal had a "frypan chef" cook individual items - omlets in the AM, pasta and sauce at lunch or in the PM, and ribs one PM. All were very good. Only beer was Presidenti on tap - not very cold, and lacked any "life." All in all, about equivalent is all ways to a roadside Motel in hte $25 to $45 in he US.
