charming resort with open air concept

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Location: We visited the town, we did not do any other excursions.
For an all inclusive the food very good, the key is to stick with one type of meat or pasta dish per meal and you will not get tired of the food. The sit down restaurants were very good. The staff was always cleaning the floors, beach area and trimming the landscape. The common area in the evening is very well designed with many areas to enjoy and listen to water fountains, music and even flamingos. They also did a paella dish cooked on the beach for lunch that had rice and seafood which was delicious. This is how the places in Punta Cana used to be and we really like this concept better. Do not miss the fancy restaurants and air conditioning.

Simply wonderful, beautiful, super nice. We had such a great time that we are planning on going back as soon as we can. It was more than we expected. The food, the shows, the staff, etc...

Beautiful

We were recommended this hotel chain from our daughter who had stayed at the Riveria Maya location. This has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in. From the pleasant and accommodating staff to the wonderful night life. We plan to revisit

Affordable Vacation

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Our check in was not the best. We upgraded our room and room they gave us was not up to par. It took them quite sometime to rectified the matter. Aldo the hotel/resort need make sure the front desk staff understand and speak English very well. Other than those setbacks,we really enjoyed our 6 days vacation, I will do it again. Good bye Puerto Plata.

Cons: They decided to do some construction at night (till past midnight) using sabre saws, hammers and chisels and such. It was not conducive to sleep.
Nice place. But the nightly construction noise was obnoxious.
