“Perfect Honeymoon”
We book this hotel for our honeymoon but we never thought it was gonna be so perfect. As soon as we check in,the beautiful view just left us with our mouth open. The staff was really friendly. The food was delicious and the room was perfect. We had a ocean view room and it was just amazing.Every morning me and my husband got to wake up to a beautiful sun and crystal blue ocean. This was incredible.I recommend this hotel to anybody,it's just perfect.
“Good hotel, good price”
This is a nice hotel, well decorated, with buffet and a la carte restaurants. The food is good, nothing fancy but good variety. There are 2 nice pools in addition to the beach area. Many bars shops, and restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Ask about the activities and amenities because they don't really do much to advertise them
“clean and quiet but has some issues for US travellers”
This hotel is not marketed to Americans as an all inclusive. i was offered a breakfast only option. Unfortunately, the bars / snack bar were not cash bars and I could not be served (even a soda) there. There is a refrigerator in room and grocery store near by, but this was very disappointing. Canadians there had all inclusive plans. Not sure why this is. Would have been nice to use the wi fi (best at the lobby bar) while having a cocktail upon return to the hotel. The water is not potable. Upon arrival, I had a small bottle of water and a soda in the fridge but they never restocked that. So I had to request bottles of water for the room each time I needed one...I didn't have to pay for it, but if the water is not drinkable, they should stock the fridge with it
“Desperately needs some tune up”
This hotel has the best location in Sosua, right on the best beach in the northern coast of Dominican Republic. We stayed there from 31st of December till next day to celebrate new years eve on the Scandinavian bar at the beach. We knew already before we went there that the hotel was not good, in fact our local travel agency warned us against staying there, even one night. So I guess we got just what we expected. The hotel desperately needs some maintanence, and so does the staff. We tried some lunch, but it was so salty that we letf it in the plate. They charged us 20 dollars for that untouched food. The next day we went to another resort and had a better experience. I hope that some investors will buy this hotel and fix it. It is such a nice place, but in the condition it is today, nobody would go back there.
“Pleasant & cheap stay in Sosua”
I went to Sosua for a quick break from the City and was pleasantly surprised with how adorable this hotel was. It is located to the side of a beautiful little beach and because we went off peak season we had basically the hotel to ourselves and had excellent weather too. It was quiet and there were only a few other guests. Our room overlooked the beautiful beach and it had a balcony as well. The food was good but, nothing, extraordinary. The fruit was fabulous. I'd say the worst thing about the room was that we had no remote for our TV and I saw a small cockroach, but being from Manhattan, I could have cared less. It was nice to get away and relax by the pool and enjoy the Dominican sun for a bit. Que lo disfruten!
“Sosua Bay”
it's clean descent food good staff and room was fine. I'm a single guy and traveled alone and I'm not real picky. i won't stay here again simply because i like having a convenient beach. you have quite a walk to get to the beach from your room because it's like a mouse maze of stairs and pathways down around this way and that way. Marina Bay is the only other hotel nearby in sosua but I hear it's very expensive if you want to bring a lady friend back to your room.
“confortable hotel”
the hotel is small, and nice. Food very good. Staff helpful. Tranquil environment. Outside the hotel, within walking distance, lots of activities, such as: bars, restaurants, clubs, park. One, can get the feel of a native Dominican, nice to see.
“the hotel must be rate 1 star”
the hotel must be rate 1 star.
“Would love to go back”
The hotel and staff were nice. Rooms were kept clean. The staff was entertaining and very polite. I would love to go back and I would pick this hotel again if I am staying in that area.
