Twenty-two apartments and seven penthouses offering luxury accommodations that are suitable for virtually every vacation style. Our luxury condo, located on the beachfront in Cabarete, offers over 50 spacious rooms to fit your unique vacation needs.
Rooms
Double Room - These spacious rooms are equipped with one (1) full bed and one (1) queen beds.
All of the Double Rooms have one en suite bathroom w/ shower.
Deluxe Room -- Our deluxe room is a favorite of those here on a romantic weekend getaway.
With one (1) king sized bed. Each Deluxe Room has an en suite bathroom w/shower.
Junior Suite - These romantic weekend getaway destinations provide everything you need for a day, a weekend or even longer. These elegant suites are equipped with one (1) Queen sized bed, en suite bathroom w/shower, living room, equipped kitchen and everything you might need.
Superior Suite - With two (2) full sized beds and one (1) queen sized bed will entice you to invite your friends and family. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and offer private balconies as well. The supeior Suite includes a fuly equipped kitchen.
Deluxe Suite -- One (1) king bed and two (2) queen sized beds, all en suite, are offered in these
beautiful two bedroom penthouse-style suites. In addition, the Deluxe Suite includes a full kitchen w/dishwasher in case you want to stay at home in the evenings.
Penthouse - Our penthouse suites are beachfront vacation rentals with three (3) bedrooms,
two (2) queen beds and two (2) king beds all ensuite, and over 2100 square feet (200 m2) of luxury with a full kitchen w/ dishwasher. Bring your entourage, family and friends to enjoy the famous
Cabarete beach and nightly entertainment.

While in residence at Velero Beach Resort, make sure you sample some of the tasty treats coming from our own little beachfront dining area the Velero Beach Grill. Located right next to the beach with a stunning view of the entire Cabarete beach, our resort restaurant offers daily breakfast and lunch menus as well as dinner options. Every evening you are treated to a spectacular, romantic sunset as the sinking Caribbean sun kisses the golden sand of the Cabarete beach.

Great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very relaxed. Felt like family not guests.
“Great Boutique hotel near all the action”
Valero was a small, clean and private hotel in Cabarete - the kite surfing capital! Service was excellent, housekeeping worked odd schedules but the rooms were clean and well appointed. Other hotels in the area are bigger and cheaper but this was a nice retreat. Mostly quiet, great (but small) pool and private beach area. Restaurant was moderatly good. Service like everywhere in DR is mostly great. Would definately go back.
“Immaculate, friendy, secure, beautiful, excellent!”
By far the best option in Cabarete. Quiet, clean and beautiful. Staff is friendly, helpful, and watchful. secure parking. First class restaurant, or there is a little cafe a few steps out the front entrance and a great deli/grocery/ATM one block away. Restful place to sun and swim. The main beach/tourist area is a 5 minute walk on the beach. We'd return in a heartbeat.
“Velero”
My girlfriend and I booked two nights at the Velero Hotel blindly and were VERY satisfied with our stay. The rooms are extremely clean, modern, roomy, have a full kitchen and the hotel is located on the beach. I have to admit we arrived at the Velero Hotel after staying 3 nights at the all-inclusive Iberostar Hotel in Puerto Plata ... we called it the "Iberostarve." We preferred the Velero because it was nicer, smaller and just a 5 minute walk down the beach to all the "local" restaurants geared toward the more discerning tourists. Don't worry, there's no fast-food. Also, the Velero does have their own small restaurant. Breakfast there was good - definitely go with the pancakes!
