Ok hotel for price in New San Juan.

The room was ok sized although the toilet in our bathroom was jammed into a tight space. Close to shops, laundromat and the beach. Bus stops to old town and bus terminal also close by

The hotel itself is beautiful. The only downfall is the accebility for handicap visitors. Also, it's not upfront about having to reserve a parking spot.

Very cozy boutique style hotel - Great Stay!

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Staff. Location. Value. Uniqueness. Lots of TV channels. Cleanliness. Safety
Cons: Maybe a bit noisy just because its in the city and you can hear traffic and cars, etc.
Location: Old San Juan, Beach, Airport, Cruise Terminal, Restaurants, Super Market
Stayed here before and after our cruise in San Juan. Close to airport (10 min drive), cruise terminal (5 min drive), Old San Juan (5 min drive) and walking distance to beach. Super nice staff!! They let us store our bags after we checked out and before we checked in on both ends of our trip. One staff member helped us all of carry our group's 10 bags and wouldn't even take a tip! Him and everyone else on the staff on both stays was super friendly. They printed off directions for us as to where we wanted to go, gave us a map (a real map, not a cheap tourist map) to borrow for the day. We had 3 different rooms for our group and each room was unique and overlooked the courtyard and various common areas on the grounds. Lots of small gardens, a nice small pool with a waterfall, benches, planters etc all in a safely enclosed area that is locked from outsiders. There is a nice bar on premise although we didn't use it. We stayed somewhere else a few blocks away from here last year for about the same price and this was WAY better than that and exceeded our expectations. It's not the Marriott, but for the money its super clean and cozy. The rooms are not old or dirty looking and have more of a comfy cottage feel with clean comfortable beds, nice decorations and flat screen TV's with over 100 channels. The rooms we stayed in were pretty good size too. I would highly recommend this place, and we will definitely stay here again on our next cruise out of San Juan.

Nice budget hotel with great service

Posted Nov 27, 2014
We checked in and Calvin did a wonderful job telling us about the area and making recommendations on what we could do and where to eat. We stayed 5 days and this has been the best hotel we have stayed at in our travels. It isn't very big, but there is a nice pool, a bar, and it is more authentic than a chain hotel.

Never book again this hotel!

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Sell rooms that you have. Don't take money if you couldn't provide service.
Location: Location is very is very good. Close to the beach and promenade street, shops, restaurants.
I booked it in advance through expedia cruise , and flight and recived option to book this hotel at promotional rate. I booked it for one night. When i came to hotel i was sent to another one ( therir "sister " hotel where was no swimiming pool, very loud AC and not a comfortable bed and on the top there was no elevator and my room was one the 3rd floor. I guess there was no any promotion just rip off. I and i couldn' t say anything about hotel because we were sent to another one that i would never choose on my own.

Nice quaint atmosphere

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Atmosphere. It was comfortable and cozy. Great mattresses!!
Cons: Maybe better lighting and keep bar open later.
Location: Some great eats nearby but wish I knew about them sooner in the trip. Hotel needs to have a recommended places list and map of say a 20 block radius.
Staff was bilingual and very helpful and gracious. Pretty good location to beach and walking distance to good places to dine. Would be helpful to have the hotel make up a mini map with street names and places to walk to from the hotel. I'd be happy to come back and do that for you :). Show the restaurants and stores and such.

Nice, quiet place in Candado

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness and beauty of the room and courtyard.
This is really a nice relaxing place to stay in San Juan. It's within easy walking distance to the beach and the restaurants of Candado, although a long walk or cab or bus ride to Old Town. The room was spacious and clean. The wifi worked great. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The staff was very nice.
